Weird episode imo
The first season is something especially weird. Bart goes to France to make bootleg wine & learn French. Meanwhile an Albanian (?) student spys on America.
Closest we probably get later on is the grammer rodeo.

It feels weird, but then I think about episodes like Homer becoming the captain of a nuclear submarine and I immediately withdraw my opinion.

But if you try to make sense of things Grimey says it well when he points out that he went to outer space.
Putting antifreeze in wine? That is a serious offense!
