What is the origin of the word “hexbear”?

in all seriousness this is it. Big meme on r/cth around the time it closed, became the site logo, then after a while of being chapo.chat, admins decided to shed that name, as the site was becoming increasingly completely unconnected to the podcast (even the subreddit was pretty ambivalent on the podcast), and so hexbear, being our most recognizable branding, became the name. You can find it in our post history if you're good enough with the search function, it was not an uncontroversial decision

There was a small intermediary where I made a 3D printed version of the first bear, then someone responded by designing the second one which was easier to print.
I'll see if I can find the old prints and post them later. The second one was an SVG and was used as the basis for the chapo chat logo 
I thought we have the original chapo.chat one. Can't find it tho.
Probably didn't carry over because it was huge
I now remember trying to (incorrectly) load it in Blender as a reference image and everything going screwy.
