I love Cuarón's cinematography in PoA, but it was the movie where they started drifting a bit too far away from the book canon. I hope we see more traditional wizard robes in the new show.
Damn these kids and their Muggle fashion trends! Would you believe my son doesn't even OWN a robe?!? No respect or decency in young wizards today!
Everything started going wrong when they installed those bathrooms.
The harry potter movies were almost directed by Terry Gilliam. We'll never know what could've been :/

It certainly would've been a more whimsical adaptation.
He also did some fairly dark stuff. Like tideland or fear and loathing.
They'd have definitely been interesting.
I mean, weren't they still wearing their robes during class in PoA and later films? Even in philosopher's stone they wear sweaters and pants during christmas break.
