The vaccines are real. But the purpose of the vaccine drive is intelligence gathering.

I wouldn't trust any vaccine from a group of people trying to genocide me.

It makes me think of how there's alot of anti-vax sentiment amongst poor African countries. Because the same countries that are providing them have been oppressing them for over a century.

Perhaps this is the right time to bring up the fact that Israel gave Ethiopian Jews anticonceptics without their knowledge, to make sure they didn't get to many children, and Israel could remain a very white state.

Everyone is missing the most mundane explanation (which may or may not be the entire reason) which is vaccinating populations you don’t actually care about is still necessary for herd immunity. (Ie the argument about why the US / rich countries should finance covid vaccines for poor countries. There is still benefit because it prevents it from spreading and mutating external to your own vaccinated population)

Especially when they’re your next door neighbors and your own people will interact with them.
