Butcher got bored. Had to. Nobody in a position to say no would have let this happen.

Maybe Texas is just crazy like that

[–] NegativeInf@lemmy.world 30 points 11 months ago

Can confirm, Texas is this crazy. I have seen this in multiple meat markets in the small town I'm from.

Even though I'm a vegan and I'd prefer not to see displays of dead animals, I'm not as sensitive to seeing this. Others might be. No harm in adding an NSFW tag in my books

Edit: Guess I'll just go fuck myself for stating an opinion

[–] A_Very_Big_Fan@lemmy.world 11 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I'm not even vegan/vegetarian and I find it vaguely disturbing

[–] festnt@sh.itjust.works 10 points 10 months ago

it IS disturbing because its an agglomeration of different types of meat in the shape of a turtle

but i dont think it should be nsfw

[–] Captain_Buddha@lemmy.world 6 points 10 months ago (1 children)

How is it not safe for work though? Nsfw isn't "potentially offensive" tagging.

[–] v4ld1z@lemmy.zip 0 points 10 months ago (1 children)

It's the closest to having a "trigger warning" tag, which doesn't exist afaik. NSFW, NSFL

[–] festnt@sh.itjust.works 5 points 10 months ago (2 children)

the closest to a trigger warning is marking it as spoiler and saying what appears on the image in the title or description.

Humans are animals too. So, it's somewhat ironic that you've got a stylized exposed human skull as a profile picture.

Yes, I know it's from Diablo 2; great game!

[–] v4ld1z@lemmy.zip 3 points 10 months ago

I'll be honest, I actually hadn't thought about that before - good point
