If they're lore accurate, then yes, because if you put a bag of holding inside another bag of holding they explode and create a portal to the astral plane, which would probably not be great for the structural integrity of an airplane.
Edit: Implosion, sucks everything within 10 feet into the hole. I guess it's up to the DM if it sucks part of the plane in 😆
They might create an inspection fee and charge depending on the amount of items stored/Inspected.

Tbh I legit always wear cargo shorts/trousers for flights. Benefit is twofold, first you can carry quite a lot of shit this way, secondly the lower pockets are way more accessible sitting down on an aircraft.

Is this jacket or a shirt/dress? If it’s a jacket, You can take it off and put it through x-rays. If it’s a shirt/dress, I’m not sure of the consequences of walking through security naked or in your underwear…
The only difference would be that everybody else could see what the scanner technician sees. =\
I haven't been to an airport with in years where only one person at a time can unload their stuff into the x-ray machine, usually they have spots for five or six persons.
This is not an issue:
I've done ziplock bags for cargo short contents before, speeds security checks up a lot.
Wouldn’t you just put it through the xray and then the TSA will pull you aside if needed?
