Hmm, seems like my definition of "secret" is way different than Bill Gates'.
Glad he donated it.. but it shouldn't be legal in the first place to anonymously donate large sums of money to political campaigns.
Donating large sums, itself, should not be legal.
I feel like a cap on how much campaigns are allowed to spend would be easier to enforce

we have this in my region and it's good, but sometimes weirdos creep in just to exploit the funding or troll on tv when their advertising spot has to be aired mandatorily. it's not perfect, but works.
Sounds objectively better than the current system where the weirdos get funded by billionaires and legitimized far more than the litany of normal candidates
