we could lose like 5+ of the worst states if this happens. It would honestly be the best thing for the world of America lost OK, AR, LA, TX, MS, a d AL to a secession movement.

Fuck yeah! Our school textbooks might see some slight improvements in the rest of the US.

I'm always torn on these discussions because we know there are people in Texas (and other conservative states) that are too poor to get the boot of capitalism off their neck. I think things would get even worse for that cohort if Texas were to secede and could really let their racism run wild.

But every fucked up chud in Texas gets the wall...in Minecraft

As someone who lives in TX... the general population here is dumb. GoP has unilaterally controlled the state for the last 30 years, and the only thing they have to campaign on is "Fixing the Soxialist Agenda."" Wish my fellow voters would realize what a farce the GOP is

They do this every other administration, nothing ever comes of it.

Good do it. In my supreme communist dictatorship we surrender most of Texas to Mexico for reparations/ diplomatic purposes

There's a lot of economic linkage between SE Texas and SW Louisiana that would be negatively impacted hard by this. There are so many businesses and industries that work across state lines in Acadiana.
