yeah i'm front row on the AI hate train and absolutely despise seeing it everywhere. but from the very start, i've let it slide for memes and brain rot. no one makes money out of this and the dogshit art makes it even more absurd.

Hard disagree. Even for lazy, low-effort memes I don't think using "AI" is acceptable. Sure, no one's making money, but it's still using ungodly amounts of energy for no fucking reason. But, clearly more people agree with you than with me, so whatever. I'll keep being grumpy about this shit in comment sections and the people posting this shit will keep raking in the upvotes.

hmm actually i don't disagree with you either, i've been in many fights over this hyper normalization of AI and while i don't really consider memes to be relevant enough, it's something i'll think about
