I figured satellite sabotage has been going on for a while now because of how important communication is and spy satellites but I didn't expect anybody would seriously consider nuclear weapons in space.

That was the point of Space Force, this shouldn't come as a shock. This will be a thing in a superpower war if it comes to that.
