Dead Prez and Rakaa Iriscience and Get Up reminded me that I liked Dead Prez from a couple of soundtracks back in the day. Whenever I hear this song I think of my one of my highschool English teachers. She had us write analysis of any song of our choice but it couldn't be rap unless it was Eminem. It was a pair project and I got stuck with a kid who had Reagan hanging in his living room like he was Chairman Mao. We did not do Eminem.

Obviously the teacher had zero experience with rap. Someone must have shown her one more poetic Eminem song so he got white listed. Its why it kills me that I didn't know better. I could've completely shattered her mind and I absolutely was the little shit who wanted to be smarter than the teacher.
