My personal pick is "The Forever Story" by JID This album blew me away on first listen. Every track on this album is near perfect. I haven't been taken so far into an album since To Pimp A Butterfly released about a decade ago. It's been years since it's come out and I'm still in love with every song on this album

I don't listen to a lot of hip hop so this might be a case of "no investigation, no right to speak" mao-aggro-shining but I really liked SCARING THE HOES, as well as both Kendrick releases this decade.

I loved both of those albums quite a bit, so no judgement from me. I mean I didn't love Mr. Morales that much but the songs I enjoyed off of it, I truly love. I also know that's an unpopular opinion with most hip-hop fans so don't feel like my opinion is representative of the full community.
