Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. 3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

You've already got him beat for my vote if it came down to it.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 4 points 23 hours ago

Dad! I could be President too! Then will you give me a hug?

[–] Stern@lemmy.world 83 points 2 days ago (1 children)

If he ran on the, "Oh yeah I'll definitely be in charge wink wink" platform he prob could get the MAGA vote, sadly enough.

[–] borf@lemmynsfw.com 31 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Voters aren't his problem. His problem is there's no way daddy ever puts Kendall in charge of the company, ever.

This especially works for Eric as like Kendall he is not the eldest.

I literally overheard a Mexican immigrant who was happy when he was talking about Trump's kid running after his dad finished his 2 terms. This was before Trump actually won, but they were already talking like they wanted a monarchy.

I was disgusted.

I'd say no fucking way, but I've seen how stupid some of the American electorate truly are - the people suffering from severe daddy issues fell hard for a soft little spoiled Manhattanite that was given daddy's money and a stupid game show....so they very well might vote for one of his sons...JFC.

Bwahahaha! Sure kid. I can never remember if he's bevis or butthead. They both look like children of the two.

[–] MuskyMelon@lemmy.world 18 points 2 days ago

Neither. They're Fuckwit and Fucktwat. Beavis and Butthead are national treasures in comparison.

[–] redsand@lemmy.dbzer0.com 15 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Neither of them realize Ivanka is the favorite. Jr thinks it's him lol

[–] _stranger_@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

reminds me of this guy

[–] P00ptart@lemmy.world -4 points 2 days ago

Just because he gives handiest with a smile, it doesn't compare to that Ivanka puss.

[–] BubbaGumpsBackLumps@lemmy.world 32 points 2 days ago

Nepo baby gonna nepo

[–] Kirp123@lemmy.world 26 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Who's gonna vote for coke-boy?

[–] Imgonnatrythis@sh.itjust.works 26 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Americans? Have you seen what they are capable of?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 11 points 2 days ago

Yep. Even under Dumbya, I would have said no fucking way.

Not after seeing how stupid the conservatives/Republicans really are and seeing they had just enough numbers and cheating to have them win with Taco...

There are just a lot of very fucking stupid and nasty people in the world...and many of them vote.

[–] doingthestuff@lemy.lol 6 points 2 days ago

It depends on whether or not Democrats put up a more electable candidate or not. You might think that might be easy, but I already can hear the D rumblings of, "Hold my beer".

[–] crusa187@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 days ago

I’d give him about as much of a chance as Sarah Palin.

[–] Hobbes_Dent@lemmy.world 19 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

You laugh but the way Americans are acting the only reason he wouldn’t be the president after Donald is if they put Barron on the throne instead.

Because he looks like a young version of your daddy so he’s better.

You folks can even reuse your wall portraits of Dear Leader later on maybe nobody will notice.

[–] Frozengyro@lemmy.world 18 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Yea, but baron isn't old enou.... Oh wait the rules didn't matter anymore.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

What's amusing is the the conservatives that acted like they were always rubbing one out with the Constitution in one hand are the first to abandon it...same with the ones clutching their pearls over the Clintons or the Kennedys being a "dynasty", LOL.

They'll race to cradle the balls of any of Taco's male offspring that run for office, I bet. Ivanka is not only a woman, she probably was/is not sufficiently supportive of "maga" (more of that baby-talk - the word means nothing, it's just baby-talk for "whatever daddy Taco sez").

[–] pawnfuture@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago

I say someone breaks a pool stick in half in front of Don Jr and Eric and let them decide amongst themselves.

[–] SnarkoPolo@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

There are no more real elections. Someone named Trump will be in power for a very long time.

[–] P00ptart@lemmy.world 8 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Put his Weiner on the big screen in Congress, then we can decide.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

I bet Marj wanted to hate-fuck Hunter soooo bad.

[–] crusa187@lemmy.ml 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Laughable. The one I’m worried about is Kushner.

[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

He's been disturbingly quiet this time around. I'd like to think it's because he's satisfied with managing that $2bn Saudi fund, but I find that unlikely.

So I had a look and this is how his investment firm is going.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affinity_Partners

The firm has a staff of approximately 20 people. By 2024, the firm had returned no profits to its investors.

Lol. I bet he's still getting paid handsomely.
