“After the completion of the film, something came to light that was relevant to the film. The National Geographic Society took the appropriate steps to look into this matter responsibly. Following this review, we assessed the findings, which led to our decision to no longer air the film.”

It’s time to play the game, was it pulled to suppress LGBTQ voices? Or was it pulled to suppress climate change awareness?

Anyway, this is why pirate-jammin is always justified.

Problem is to my knowledge you can't even pirate the movie. It's only been going out in film festivals and screening circles, it's never been aired on TV. But they pull the movie out from the remaining of climbing and climate science festival circles. The only way to get the movie is if you have insider connections. Maybe I should post this on /r/lostmedia

I have never seen a torrenting site post SCR videos. That would be illegal. Once people see the studio watermark, I'm sure they all report it to the FBI.

They're rare, especially now a days, but they've happened. There used to be a "screener season" when we'd get a bunch of movies leaked that way.

Most are old but even on the first page I see a 2025 release. Definitely happens. With multiple copies they can bypass the watermarks too.

Looks like it was available on Banff's site.

It's "expired" now, but it seems like anyone who watched it there before should still be able to access it.

So there's a possibility that someone could download and reupload it. We'd just have to find someone who had previously gotten access.

Thanks for the lead!

Part of me wonders if it's a lot stupider: did they force a (straight) romantic subplot in for story reasons?

“What would the LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR think?!” - A media company who’s target audience is NOT the lowest common denominator

Back in my day, outcasts mutually despised their normie overlords and didn’t kowtow to their whims.

I've been told gay people cause earthquakes, tornados, and hurricanes; now they're causing climate change as well. If children had watched this, she would have turned them gay with her climate change agenda. But, thanks to Disney, that won't happen.
