Citations very much needed citations-needed

Kent State students would like a word…

Its a wonder to see these people still in denial

Guys the Gestapo might not have been in Paris before! Go say hi and ask how their day is going!

[–] GrouchyGrouse@hexbear.net 51 points 9 months ago

“We’re all citizens” well except the ones being targeted by ICE with which this whole “crime wave deployment” is intimately connected.

So say hi to the guys running interference for the fascist immigration cops. They’ll be super grateful you can’t connect the dots because you’re a fucking naive baby.

I’d rather the national guards convert to AWOL and not doing their job as pawns of a fascist takeover, not convert to voting blue.

Politely remind them of their spouse’s potential for infidelity while they are deployed.

Just put flowers in their guns like in that picture

[–] WrongOnTheInternet@hexbear.net 38 points 9 months ago

Expectation: flower picture

Reality: Kent state shooting

[–] GladimirLenin@hexbear.net 31 points 9 months ago (1 children)

what sort of gear does the national guard carry, do they have flashbangs and smoke grenades/tear gas and stuff? could you join and accidentally tear gas your entire group if you were a silly clumsy lad or lass?

Usually your weapon, kevlar helmet, LBE (load bearing equipment) canteen or CamelBak and MAYBE an IBA (Individual Body Armor.)

you treat them like occupying forces, which they are. Don't talk to them, don't even look. Don't serve them or give them anything. Leave when they are near. Neighborhoods should go silent as they walk by. Then one inevitable day, when their backs are turned and chaos reigns in the night, you become creative illegal-to-say

Way too many democrats have fantasies of being the next Daryl Davis. If they’re quiet and ignorable, the chud will say something along the lines of “well shucks, guess y’all ain’t so bad after all.” and shed every last prejudice they hold on the spot.

That doesn’t happen, most of the time if chuds admit they were wrong about you. They’d say at best you’re “one of the good ones” but “the exception proves the rule.”

[–] Wakmrow@hexbear.net 3 points 9 months ago

Daryl Davis was not only unsuccessful he's kind of a piece of shit for normalizing this idiotic thought

Statements like this make me want to embrace anarchy. People armed and poised for confrontation at the command of an authoritative governing body are all the same.

[–] godlessworm@hexbear.net 9 points 9 months ago (1 children)

disagree. anarchy wouldnt solve anything, it would just create the conditions to replicate what we have now 10x worse. embrace left wing authority. arm the people and educate them so they know who to use the guns on and what they’re using the guns to achieve.

the problem with america isnt authority or authoritarianism exactly, its who is exerting that authority and for what

[–] nothx@hexbear.net 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

That’s where I don’t plan on participating at all anymore if I’m honest.

Definitely agree here.

i'm curious what you mean by this exactly. as in, you wouldn't support such a revolution, or you would have to support it in other ways that don't include arming and educating people?

my personal opinion is, i don't want people to have guns at all, but we don't live in a world like that. one day i hope we could. right now, along with education, they're a tool needed for liberation

That’s how I feel as well. I’ve come to the realization that I’m not cut out for a world where I’ll need to take up arms and don’t plan on living through a violent revolution.
