It's named "Boat" because half of its inhabitants are floating drunk at any given day.

Also it was nuked at least twice but nobody noticed, and total damage was 32,56 PLN

Whilst working on my worldbuilding, I learnt that Lodz means boat which was a surprise, since I also knew Lodz was a city.
