I clicked expecting chloroform.
I know, they sell these at a smaller scale for your furnace/ac units, you just clip them onto the intake.
They are honestly pretty great, but i'd never classify them as 'soothing gas'.

And all the sensitive people who break out in hives and loved it when work had a scent free policy.
I don't break out in hives but I can guess being in that subway would immediately give me a sinus headache.
