can confirm, had the most liquefying diarrhea of my life after having a bad case of constipation for 3 days and then eating 1-2 entire bags (300g each i think) of dry prunes in one go

I didn't even read the title, haha. That wasn't meant to be a correction but a suggestion that the frog dude get more fibre. I edited my original comment.

My apologies - I thought you were being persnickety - plenty of those people on the internet

[–] TheBat@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

the frog dude

Pepe. Say his name.

I think it's just proper English spelling. In Brittain it's also fibre. I don't know about other English speaking countries though. But it's easy to assume it's just the US Americans who can't spell and messed it all up. /jk

Because that is the place you go to if you want some peace and quiet. Be it from your colleagues at the office or from your kids at home.

Wtf is your diet if it's a struggle? Just don't eat garbage. And like the title says, eat enough fibers (with liquids). If you're shitting bricks you're doing something wrong.

some people are prone to it, like IBS-C regardless.

[–] smh@slrpnk.net 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

IBS, medication with "surprise diarrhea" as a side effect, and occasional almost--passing-out on the toilet (overactive vasovagal reflex). It's not a fun combination. Fiber only helps so much.

Fair enough, medical conditions are always special situations. In that case, consult your doctor.

Magnesium is the way. You can thank me later.

The relief comes after

[–] Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

The literal translation for "bathroom" in my native language is "house of peace".

[–] Cosmonauticus@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Exactly why I dont use my phone on the toilet. This is time for quiet reflection while I push waste out of my asshole

[–] gandalf_der_12te@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

This is time for quiet reflection

why do you think it's called "analysis"

[–] IEatDaFeesh@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

No candy or rice. Eat green veggies.

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 1 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

We, as a society, should just agree to call it a "shitter." Or possibly the "shitpostitorium."
