- we can't quote the text without pointless bullshit like retyping it or OCR
- text search is unavailable
- the system can't
- reflow text to varied screen sizes
- vary presentation (size, contrast)
- vary modality (audio, braille)
- accessibility
- lacks semantic structure (tags for titles, heading levels, sections, paragraphs, lists, emphasis, code, links, accessibility features, etc)
- some users can't read the image due to lack of alt text
- users can't adapt the text for dyslexia or vision impairments
- systems can't read the text to them or send it to braille devices
- searchability: the "text" isn't indexable by search engine in a meaningful way
- fault tolerance: no text fallback if
- image breaks
- image host is geoblocked due to insane regulations.
Contrary to age & humble appearance, text is an advanced technology that provides all these capabilities absent from images.

Paw Patrol is a low effort advertisement for toys that has a new Dog, Car, Truck, Plane, Helicopter, Spaceship, Clothing, HQ, Theme, Town or villain every episode so there's always some new plastic crap for your kids to want

It's actually pretty realistic cause the cop dog never does anything significant it's always the ~~proletarians~~ builder dog and the garbage truck dog who save the day. But still the cop is the fans favorite for some reason.

Obviously it wasn't like intentionally written to be as it's just a stupid kids show that exists to sell toy but a lot of the themes in the show do frame policing in a very pro-police way.
Ah, I was going to check it out thanks to this post, but if their portrayal of cops isn’t realistic I guess I’ll pass.

you know there are services you can just upload a pic and they print and mail it since like 25 years or so, right?
also, depending on region, there are some local shops which do this for like soccer clubs etc. they usually also do it for just one person. you just gotta find them and bring your own article of clothing.
i did this stuff a lot when i was younger. made pics with gimp in the style of a brand, but with a pun instead of the brand name etc.

I know custom ink has an option for higher quality shirts (or used to). I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s an option at any of the other big shops, too (redbubble and… um… that’s the only other one I can think of off the top of my head)
You can literally just search custom tshirts, or custom prints.
Give me a white shirt, a black maker, and $120 and you can have this written on a shirt.
