I can read the language but the E in Eierkochbecher was a tough one..

Thank you! I can also read the language, but I’d bookmarked it to ask my husband what the hell a gierkochbecher is. Now it seems very obvious, but I was picturing some sort of meditation aid to help people with feelings of greed, lol.

Das wäre dann [der hier] von 1877, also das Neueste vom Neustem! Leider habe ich nur die Englische Übersetzung des Patenttexts ohne Bilder bei patents.google.com gefunden, immerhin! Beim Deutschen Patentamt gibt's online nur Bibliographie.

Das Ganze ist wohl ein tatsächlicher Eierbecher, in dem das Ei mittels eines Minialkoholbrenners gekocht und serviert wird. Sozusagen invers flambiert?
