The Young Seagoons and I exchanged evil jigsaws ...lol

gmta

little puzzles that are super hard, pictures tomorrow

wasgij? My sister found these and we've been swapping them ever since. A bit cartoonish, but surprisingly hard to do.

I'm starting to get a sore throat and I leave in a few days. Hopefully it's nothing. Ahhhh

Beach. Just enough light left for the doggo

[–] PeelerSheila@aussie.zone 3 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

Even though it's dark, doggo looks happy!

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 1 points 24 minutes ago

He does look happy. 😊

Have spent the day on and off cleaning. I can believe those "flat surface" theories of home interiors, where every flat surface becomes a dump zone for clutter. That's what happened to my place πŸ˜” Even on top of the fridge and on top of the dishwasher, cluttered with bits and pieces and thick with dust. The fridge is next to the stove and the extractor fan isn't really up to the task of taking all the oily air out. I have scrubbed, polished and discarded stuff. Now having a cup of tea and a Shredded Wheatmeal biscuit (ok several) and wishing they were Chocolate Wheatons.

unless you don't mind a bit of dusting everything goes in cupboards

I know nothing about guitars, but she’s pretty! Congrats on the new guitar!

I know whose house I'll be breaking into when I become a robber! /j

Turns out I did find something to do. Now I'm slightly tired and ready for a beer. Cheers 🍺

Turns out computer games are less interesting to me than I thought while so tired, and too much playing worsens my headaches. Noooo

Edit: The inspection hasn’t happened, nobody showed up.

I’m also craving a bunch of different soups I can’t have. Rude.

oh there's a special place in hell for bastards who upload hard to find albums as a single flac file.

I just picked up 10kg of slightly rain damaged apricots. This weekend's activities are now set, there will be much preserving.

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 6 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

yum, so jelly

apricot jam is the best, the industrial ones are too sweet and have no acid, home made is like real apricots 😊

[–] RustyRaven@aussie.zone 5 points 8 hours ago

I absolutely agree. All jams are better home made, but apricot is probably the most different. I don't generally make a lot of apricot jam because the fruit can be a bit expensive, but $25 for 10kg was a great deal. And they are really good looking fruit too, just some cosmetic marks on the skin.

Forgot the straps. Reminding me of my share -house moving days...

One benefit of getting my girlfriend the steam deck is I can just get her games for Christmas and her birthday. I know you don't necessarily need a steam deck but it helps because I know what will run on there.

You can also access someone's wishlist on Steam. It takes a little bit of tinkering with URLs but it's doable. So during sales like the one on currently I can just scroll through and add things until I feel like I've spent enough

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 8 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 8 hours ago)

"Steam deck" sounds like something I might like to use to wash my windows with.

Steam Deck 2000. Steams and washes with one touch of a button, leaving your windows sparkling clean.

[–] melbaboutown@aussie.zone 4 points 8 hours ago

Cat was screaming because the room got cleaned… treats have helped. Now she’s having a wash on the bed.

Inspection was meant to happen at 11 but they’re still not here

Local Facebook drama today. The conflict between two competing Ballarat community groups has come to a head, with the admin of one group threatening to delete the group because people were not kind in the comments on their foulmouthed video tirade about FOGO bins.

[–] SpinMeAround@aussie.zone 1 points 4 hours ago

Oooh get the popcorn. I love drama like this.

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 6 points 10 hours ago

Day 4 of my Dr Seuss eyeshadow palette. Today is hot pink glitter. I like it. I like all the glitter and sparkle shadows. The only ones that I don't like on me so far are the browns and dark grey.

[–] Gibsonhasafluffybutt@aussie.zone 10 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

It doesn't feel like Friday. It's maybe 1987 at best.

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 6 points 11 hours ago

I'm still catching up.

[–] Seagoon_@aussie.zone 6 points 11 hours ago

Miss Seagoon got one of the her bestie's little ones in Brussels a copy of The Hobbit in French and she would read as a bedtime story every night for a few weeks. But the dwarf names are the same. πŸ§πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈπŸ²πŸ§Œ

Optometrist was a total waste of time. "There's nothing wrong with your script. Try working slower" how about you try fucking all the way off.

Grumpy Catfish is grumpy.

Didn't end up falling off the ladder yesterday so 2026 is off to a good start.

No one at the beach for last night's swim which is a bit weird for NYD. As a kid in the late 90's / early 00's it was basically a party beach this time of year but all of that seems to have stopped even though there are far more people down here today.

I'm bored.

I did get the piggies to drink from the bottle.

It's giving Hannah Montana Guinea Pig version

[–] SituationCake@aussie.zone 8 points 11 hours ago (2 children)

They look like they’ve had a professional blow wave.

I'd kill for hair that awesome lol

Bonsai musk oxen. Without horns and legs. musk ox
