The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. - George Orwell, 1984

That's because they're smooth-brained bootlicking simps

I wonder how many of those who aren’t inclined towards fascist authoritarianism ceased being registered as Republicans.

[–] 13igTyme@piefed.social 8 points 1 month ago

Not enough.

[–] Tikiporch@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Probably as many who changed from Democrat to Republican so as not to end up on a list...

Nearly 100% of Republicans voters thought trump would make a good president after his first term.

We're not exactly dealing with the mensa society here.

You would be surprised how many right wing autistic nutcases you’ll find in mensa. Intelligence has nothing to do with it. It about begin connected with heart.

And I hate repeating this, but if there ever was a stolen election in US history it was November ‘23. They admitted it on camera so many times. The patterns of swinging all swingstates and leaving everything just outside of the safe margin for automatic recounts is completely fishy, but thanks to american patiotism, they will never question their election integrity on such a scale if it was hacked by a bold and crazy tech billionaire, or if some complex entity attacked their country on 9/11.

It's time to stop pretending that these people can be argued with or convinced of anything. Don't give them the time of day and don't pretend they live in reality when they make up the facts they want instead of looking at evidence

That's not enough, no wonder they are getting nervous.

Most of them believe in a talking dead guy that sits on a cloud and watches them pee, also.

They're not sending their best or their brightest.

Alternative headline: less than a 3rd of Americans…

They will justify anything the gestapo does.

I mean, you also have to realize the only people that do polls are busybodies that have too much time on their hands and need to hate everything they see. In my head I basically add the line "according to people that are willing to do polls" to the beginning of every article about polling. I don't think I've ever met anyone that has ever even done a poll of any kind. But my conservative dad that spends 80% of his time at home on Facebook with Fox news in the background? Yeah, he'd definitely be willing to answer a few polls.

Yet that idiot who got herself shot to death while attacking Congress is a martyr to them.

[–] Asafum@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Don't expect consistency from Republicans. They will follow whatever their chosen propaganda outlet tells them reality is so that they can always be "right."

One day it's "comply or it's your fault."

The next it's "our heroic martyr was ruthlessly murdered in DC."
