A Bring Me The News reporter who was near the scene said an agent opened fire at a man outside Glam Doll Donuts at Nicollet Avenue and 26th Street at around 9 a.m.
Video from our reporter reveals that multiple shots were fired, with the agent believed to be just a few feet away from the man when he was struck, apparently in his chest.
The man was seen unconscious on the ground and responders were carrying out chest compressions.
Immediately after our reporter approached the scene, an agent was heard yelling for help and scissors to open the victim's shirt. Agents told our reporter that they had immediately called 911 for assistance.
New video uploaded to Reddit shows several federal agents struggling with a man outside Glam Doll, during which a shot is fired, followed by multiple more shots fired at the man as he lay on the ground.
[Bolding added]
He was executed.
Fucking brownshirts
SS, not brownshirts. Brownshirts were not law enforcement, they were private groups, like the proud boys are trying to be.
Yeah, brown shirts preceded state sponsored violence.
The brownshirts have been deputized into SS
I think the SS killed the brownshirt leaders and disbanded them.
I agree they operate more like the SA. They’re sloppy and there to incite chaos. The Gestapo were more polished came after the citizens had been terrorized into compliance. When the SA was disbanded those who didn’t make the cut for the Gestapo we’re sent to war and to man the camps

Thanks for sharing. Was waiting/rooting she would be able to share the vid. Vid on reddit post is dead though. Found and made a backup here https://e.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZBYfaZdsx99oy9neLDbxFiWgJE083lkOTX This is so insane
Yeah really insane. It is clear that trump is going to push for some sort of martial law implementation with the protest that are going to follow.
Stay safe people.
Looks like ICE isn’t OUT.
Protest again today
And general strike as long as it takes.
/edit:
multiple angles synced up together (this ones being updated as new angles come in)
Wow. So they have the struggling man on the ground and two men approach from the left of frame. What’s shown below is not graphic, but it is screenshots from the video.
Edit: Leaving it up, but my initial analysis was incorrect. Pink jacket video is now available. First shooter was different. Man that walks off frame toward camera in this video is the one that recovered the gun. Has it in his hands as he is walking away. Link to new video.
At 17 seconds in, several of the officers have stepped back a bit, one of the late arrivals has turned to leave, and so the guy on the ground no longer has bodies and activity all over him.
The man in the green hood takes a step back, and draws his weapon.
About two seconds later, the man in the green hood takes a firing pose and a shot is heard.
All of the thugs who were attacking the unseen figure step away and reach off their weapons.
A second or two passes. The figure on the ground does not seem to move.
One of the last men to step clear (black beanie) takes several shots
In the video, the two men who arrived late (including the man who opened fire first), are seen leaving the frame quickly.
Without wanting to brew conspiracies, as I know ICE is pretty ragtag. Is that weird? Their cop cosplay outfits don’t quite match the others.

Good to know what their deflection is going to be, I hope journalists press them on the fact that the ICE officers had their hands on this guy and were beating on him before they shot him. If that pistol is his and he did actually brandish it, it'd still be a strong case for self defense, and either way this is just objectively shit police work. How tf do you put hands on someone with multiple people and still end up in a situation where you're forced to shoot them?
Let's say he really had the gun.
They're beating on him, his arms are flailing, he has a gun hosltered somewhere and maybe they suddenly see it, or his arm flails towards it from the beating.
Idiot cop uses that as an excuse to murder them.
I thought you had a right to legally carry in the US?
Yeah just put it on the list of all the other rights they're actively violating every day
Doesn't stop a cop from deciding to kill you when they see it.
Only if you are right wing
Supposedly, yes. Having a pistol on you is considered legal in most places, including Minneapolis, as long as you have a permit (ICE couldn't have possibly known whether or not he did, it would've been reasonable for them to assume that he did, and was simply exercising his rights). They're going to make the excuse that he "reached for it". If he didn't have his hand on the fucking gun, that logic doesn't stand. This is bullshit, they executed a man in cold blood because they felt like it. They're monsters, and I hope they get some kind of punishment, legal (that's not happening) or otherwise.
They had 1 person per limb and couldn’t pin him down because they’re incompetent, poorly trained, and out of shape.

If ICE would have complied and left he wouldn't have gotten shot.

Homeland Security shares account of fatal shooting The Department of Homeland Security said federal agents were conducting a "targeted operation" in Minneapolis at 9:05 a.m. Saturday looking for "an illegal alien wanted for violent assault."
"An individual approached U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun," the agency said in a statement. "The officers attempted to disarm the suspect but the armed suspect violently resisted."
"Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots," the department's statement continued. "Medics on scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject but was pronounced dead at the scene."
DHS said the man had two magazines and "no ID" and that more information would be coming.
If you approach a federal agent (who will likely be wearing a mask and sneaking around) while exercising your 2nd amendment rights you can be killed, cool cool cool /s

Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty said in a statement Saturday morning that her office is working alongside the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) to coordinate a state response to Saturday's shooting.
“The scene must be secured by local law enforcement for the collection and preservation of evidence,” Moriarty said. “We expect the federal government to allow the BCA to process the scene.”

Federal agents are repeatedly tear-gassing a crowd at Nicollet Avenue and E. 27th Street, deploying the irritant each time residents reappear in the intersection.
Residents are calling agents "Nazis" and chanting that all immigrants are welcome in Minnesota. Meanwhile, several residents are frantically trying to move their parked cars away from the area

The shooting scene is tense on 26th Street in south Minneapolis with dumpsters being set on fire, while Minnesota state troopers have arrested at least a couple of protesters who crossed the police tape.
The man fatally shot by federal officers in Minneapolis this morning has been identified as Alex Jeffrey Pretti, according to sources familiar with the investigation.
Pretti, 37, has an address listed in south Minneapolis.
At a news conference, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said the man who was shot was a 37-year-old white man with no serious criminal history and a record that showed some parking tickets. Law enforcement sources said Saturday their records show Pretti had no serious criminal history.
O'Hara said the man was a “lawful gun owner” with a permit. Records show that Pretti attended the University of Minnesota. State records show Pretti was issued a nursing license in 2021, and it remains active through March 2026.
