The article hasn't caught up to the reality that the Democrats are loyal opposition.
Citizens need to take on ICE.
Democrats need to decide if they are with the fascists or against them.
Senior Democrats have already decided, and their choice is not good.
They didn't even vote to stop funding for ICE. You're putting your hope in the wrong group of people.

Enough of the ones in seats that they vote to continue funding it.
i dunno the amt but those in office who are not actively calling out ice and passing or attempting to pass laws to control them are doing so because they support them.

But yes, the should fight for the stuff we want.
The Democratic Party and high-level Dems support ICE, the killings, the concentration camps, and the general aura of fascism. They're an accommodation party, not an opposition party.
If I had the money to put it together, I'd get some pamphlets printed up, and some bumper stickers or such with statements like "I SUPPORT ICE'S RIGHT TO MURDER".
The pamphlets basically say "Since you support ICE, we thought you'd enjoy these!", then inside, some very graphic information about what ICE has been up to, and some messaging to the tone of "Do you support ICE? Because the House representatives you elected to represent your opinions in congress just voted in favor of a huge budget bill. Don't like being associated with that? Call them and let them know. By the way, the midterm elections are coming right up."
Send those out to everyone in every district whose 'democratic' representatives voted for the budget bill.
Hahaha you think we going get to vote this away? Dude Democracy is over. We need to be deciding when rise up. At the minimum a general strike that doesn't end until this over, or start getting armed and ready for war. That or continue to do jack shit.
Yeah I mean, I agree with you, but do you know how to organize that? Do you know anyone who's in the process of organizing that? I sure don't. It's easy to post shit on the internet; let me know when you've got an action plan.
They did one on Friday, just do that but make it permanent.
