This one is good too
Yeah wow McDonalds is exactly the same as an easily accesible grocery store right next to a reliably running train for public transport, which is the same as the freighttrains that are typical for "place, USA". And yeah a single massive murder truck is just the same as two compact cars, good mind on you there buddy.
Slop.

Also drawing a bench and shelter at the bus stop lol. Most bus stops in burgerland look like this:

Most bus stops in my city don't even have seating at all.
They've been removing bus shelters "for safety" but really it's because they don't want unhoused people to have an ounce of safety or comfort
At least in LA you can enjoy the fabulous SOMBRITA!
wait i thought circlejerk subs were supposed to be in on it.
if they actually hate r/fuckcars they should be called r/fuckfuckcars
It's not enough for them to be hegemonic, they won't be happy until they're universally supported
It's crazy how cars have been normalised since being called 'the child eating moloch' in the 1920s. Here, it takes 3-4 years to get your full license, that's as long as a degree. You're maybe told you're getting into a one ton missile that can kill people once when you start and that's it. Then you can drive by yourself after a year with no further formal lessons and only one actual driving test. There are a bunch of restrictions on driving because kids kept dying but the reasons for those were always individualised rather than acknowledging the mode of transport itself can also be a problem
it's mildly more acceptable to drive if it's somewhere like the Netherlands where cities are closer to each other
it's utterly insane to drive more than 5 hours by yourself, even if it's mostly accelerating on flat highways
And to think America is also the biggest sinner in this regard...
