I keep my single action revolvers in the cheese drawer for better humidity control.

You're supposed to keep the big iron on your hip.

TO THE TOWN OF AGUA FRIYA RODE A STRANGER ONE FINE DAAAAYYYYYYY

I love that song.

[–] Zen_Shinobi@lemmy.world 8 points 2 weeks ago

Ohh they go there? I was keeping it in the freezer. That explains why I couldn't rotate the cylinder.

How many times do I have to tell people that it goes in the bag of rice?

Taking a page out of Spike's book.

Bring me the Colt-45 out of the fridge.

[–] CarbonatedPastaSauce@lemmy.world 10 points 2 weeks ago

Cold steel.

[–] GreenKnight23@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

get that gun out of there. it's far too humid to be in there and the fucking cylinder is going to rust and lock up.

[–] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 6 points 2 weeks ago

I got two heritages in a cheap safe. Just checked the other day and yes, both are rusting after the wild temp fluxes we've had.

oh...I guess...when there's nothing edible left...I guess it better than starving to death...?

Why is that can of spam completely open... holy bacteria.

[–] Typotyper@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 weeks ago

Can bacteria grow on spam

[–] SkunkWorkz@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

When the can was opened bacteria already came into contact with the spam. Covering it up does not stop bacteria, that’s why it’s put into the fridge. Covering food up just slows down oxidation and dehydration. It’s the fridge that slows down bacteria growth.

Unless the fridge is full of mold spores.

[–] SkunkWorkz@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

yeah but then the spores will float into the rest of the kitchen the moment you open and close the fridge door and your breathing in the spores anyway. Covering food up is just a fools errand at that point, since you and your house are contaminated either way.

The light working is sus.

[–] pero@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 weeks ago

I can see at least three dinners in there

[–] Bazell@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 weeks ago

I am curious what's in the freezer then.

[–] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 weeks ago

How the fuck did you take a picture of my actual IRL fridge?

[–] artichokecustard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

should i be keeping my snus in the fridge?

[–] M137@lemmy.world -1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Yes, but only actual snus, if you use shit like what's in the photo you only deserve to be slapped in the face so hard that you won't be able to use it ever again.

[–] M137@lemmy.world -2 points 2 weeks ago

Would be actual tobacco snus though, not that vile shit made for teenage girls that's in the photo.
