Finally got some more RAM and extra storage for the girlfriend's laptop. Probably not the best deal in the world if i really hunted around but it's done

My choice was Guardians of the Galaxy. kidcalhoon2's choice was Wicked 2.. We're about 1 hour in and you cannot convince me my choice wasn't the better one.

I found where my huntsman is hiding out, he's in the cupboard protecting my fabric rolls.

Tonight's hamburger was pretty good. I've never actually made proper hamburger buns before, I'm glad I worked out I can use my small loaf pan on top as a weight. It didn't just make it flat, the weight made it a bit denser so it didn't fall apart as I ate.

A group of crows are having a meeting on the telephone pole out front. I count at least 9 of them. Lots of discussion.

Meal prep is well underway. Dough for rolls is rising, yoghurt is draining and filling for cottage pie is simmering. Now I just need to form & bake the rolls, do the potato topping for the pie and chop up five meals worth of salads in various forms.

It's my last day off before the nose is back to the grindstone, including a day working down in Melbourne. Today will therefore feature meal prep, washing and gerneral last day sadness. Just a couple more weeks to get through and I have 12 days off to do as I please. Very much looking forward to that.

I didn’t get to sleep for a long time last night and didn’t drink enough fluid today. Eugh.

The black cat turned up at 3am so while Melbcat rested I slipped out to supply dry food (which isn’t good but seems preferred) and some pats. He was purring. Melbcat is still a bit quiet but has been having some of her dry food. I’ve booked a vet appointment and given her anti nausea meds just in case.
