It's okay, the season 6 drapes were actually "plum" instead of purple! We don't have to cancel the Simpsons now!
Also he said he’s always wanted them, not that he’d never had them.
It's not inconsistent. He wanted them before, and had them.
In episode 2F09, when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes that same rib twice in succession yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we, to believe that this is some sort of a, a magic xylophone or something?
And even earlier, in season 3:
Those drapes are clearly eggplant or aubergine.
Worst. Post. Ever.
So sloppy. There's only 803 episodes of continuity to worry about. I don't see what's so hard about keeping that straight.
Love that episode, immersion break aside.
this ep, for “glengarry glen ross” and bart of darkness for “rear window” are good reminders to check out the classics they model!
