Drunk dude killed his daughter with a gun and no charges. It was an "accident". This was after he told her he wouldn't care if she got raped because he had two other daughters!?

And to me it was clearly premeditated. He led her to his room to “show her his gun” right before she was about to go to the airport to leave with her partner. And then it magically goes off.

Most homicides and assaults are between family members or people in the same household. None of this is new or shocking, it's just that they don't usually publicize the arguments that led up to the killing.
I promise most domestic arguments that end in violence are not arguments about how long the cupcakes should be baked for or when the family is going to the water park.
