But for real, don't mix the two. It's a great way to end up dead or seriously injured. I had a friend who passed out from the combo in front of a space heater and had burns on his shin that exposed bone.
Also, there's basically a hard limit on how high you can get with benzos. After a certain point you're just throwing away money.
Also also, snorting Vyvanse is wasting money. It has to go through stomach acid to work, so it has to drip out of your sinuses first.
Wtf, are people snorting Vyvanse? I thought its whole purpose was that it worked for ADHD and was not recreationally fun.

I never snorted it and I didn’t look for it for fun but if I was out of crystal meth it made me feel better and pretty good.
I’m in recovery now thankfully, don’t do meth kids. Unless you like turning all your bad feelings into good feelings.

Yeah, people are dumb. One of the reasons it's prescribed is because it's harder to abuse. According to my psychiatrist when it came out, it's bonded to a lipid that has to be stripped off by stomach acid to work.

The lysine is cleaved from the prodrug in the bloodstream to release d-amph, not in the stomach. While I haven’t tried it (and wouldn’t recommend it), you should be able to get high from insufflation just fine, but the release curve will be much slower than if you were railing pure speed.
Your friends weren’t talking out of their asses completely. Your psychiatrist isn’t talking out of their ass either, but they’re conflating the mechanism of action that Vyvanse uses with a mechanism used by many other prodrugs, which is first-pass metabolism.

You're thinking of Strattera (which is worse for adhd than stimulants). Basically every other adhd medication is a stimulant and while they can be formulated in ways that are better for medication than fun it's usually by making them release slowly and consistently resulting in a milder effect for a longer time. That said, doing that was what perdue pharma said made oxycontin not addictive.
Yeah strattera is trash. Shit made me feel weird. I had to stop taking it after a week because, aside from the depersonalization and body load, it also.made my heart feel like it was going to self destruct
Yeah I slept through a family vacation as a kid. And it should be noted that we both had adverse reactions. While I'd normally recommend people start with a stimulant, they've become really hard to consistently get lately to the point that I'm recommending my wife start with it.

I think they just said it to sell it. I knew people in recovery who would have doctors prescribe it to them and tell them it was safe and non-addictive.
Honestly, the people I knew that liked other opiates usually said they hated tramadol. But I also knew a handful of folks that never got into other opiates and really liked abusing tramadol.

Caffeine and weed in combination are tragically underrated.
I know this is a shitpost, but really we should highlight what little good news we can find these days. Alcohol and other drug use among kids has been steadily dropping since 1980.
Damn kids these days, just staring at their phone all day instead of getting drunk and wrapping their car around a tree.

I'm afraid there is an equal increase in some other substances that are either harder to track or technically don't count as drugs, like some weird synthetic gas station stuff

House always wins, my main takeaway from a few high school probability classes, a horrible first time at a casino and Fallout New Vegas probably.

Street Drugs are more dangerous now. The question is if dying is worth using the drug? Risk versus reward. I get why people use illegal drugs; pain,escape,mental struggle,environment,pressure, stress, etc.
Some prescribed drugs can be just as dangerous. Luckily the government stepped in to end the prescription drug epidemic. It use to be real easy for people to travel get a new doctor who would issue a prescription (pill farm).
Drugs don’t solve the problem. It only suspends the reality of the issue. Some people have to use prescription drugs to live. Nothing wrong with that as long as they respect the reality of the situation they are in.
