I, for one, welcome our learned mice overlords.

I think so Brain, but who would want to see Snow White and the Seven Samurai?

Considering this is a school why not use The Brain. Missed opportunity

[–] Elroc@lemmus.org 3 points 14 hours ago

The best laid plans of mice.

It might be infringment... But they should have chosen these guys

"Gee Brain. What are we gonna do today?" "The same thing we do every day. Try to sneak into the library so we can figure out how to take over the world."

Thanks, I haven't seen it! Is it good?

[–] ILikeBoobies@lemmy.ca 3 points 14 hours ago

It's better than I expected but not exceptional.

[–] Ceruleum@lemmy.wtf 3 points 18 hours ago

So that is why the world is run by rats?

[–] ooterness@lemmy.world 9 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

That's why every good library or bookstore has a cat.

[–] VicksVaporBBQrub@sh.itjust.works 7 points 14 hours ago

Cats have yet to make the connection between, the written word, and, world domination.

They know something is there and they try.

If you give a mouse a cookie...

[–] turbowafflz@lemmy.world 14 points 23 hours ago

...he'll eat it for a day. if you teach a mouse to cookie, ratatouille

Glad to see I'm in good company here with all the Pinky and the Brain references.

When I was growing up, there was one specific commercial -- I think it was for Animaniacs -- that's burned into my memory. It was the one where Pinky says something like "Gee Brain, where are we going to find rubber pants our size?"

So that’s where Trump came from, he’s just missing the knowledge part since he’s dumb as a nail but makes up for it by excellently executing the corrupt and evil part.

[–] lennee@lemmy.world 3 points 20 hours ago

i say give the mice a chance, they might be better at running things than us

[–] edgemaster72@lemmy.world 3 points 21 hours ago

So we'd have knowledgeable dictator mice instead of the anti-intellectual fascists we have now? I mean, shouldn't we at least give it a try, then we can contrast and compare.

How can a librarian not know how to punctuate?

[–] tetris11@feddit.uk 2 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

[–] ttyybb@lemmy.world 2 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

Oh so that's why. But why is there no food in art gallories?

[–] WhiskyTangoFoxtrot@lemmy.world 2 points 17 hours ago

'Cause then they'd be fart galleries.
