Alright, lose to AOC in the primary then.
I mean, at this point AOC is the only good option possible out of who is looking at running. If there's someone with a better chance and track record, I am all ears.
I was originally thinking AOC versus Erica Kirk.

She was the least popular candidate in 2020, but for some reason Biden chose her as his VP. Then she lost to Donald Trump in 2024, after practically being forced onto the ticket. And she's still thinking about running again?
JFC. Whoever is telling her this is a good idea, needs to be fired.
That's the problem with the DNC putting identity politics over matters of policy. And I don't even use that term in the same sense as the right-wing anti-DEI psychosis.
DEI is a matter of policy. Choosing a milquetoast establishment neoliberal solely because she's a woman of color is identity politics.
It's better to nominate a progressive regardless of race, gender, or sexuality, than it is to nominate the most intersectional minority who panders to the right-wing "moderates."
The Dems lost in 2016 because they forced Hillary on everyone when they wanted Bernie. Clearly they still haven't learned their lesson...

Because she was friends with his late son and fellow AG Beau.
She also took the most aggressive and direct shot at Biden that I can recall during the primary with her criticism of Biden's position on busing.
And to Biden's credit, he approved of her being willing to challenge him like that.

Absolutely. Unfortunately this seems to be quite common with those that aim to run.
If Americans were actually represented by our government, things would be vastly different here and around the world.
Her only merit was that she’s not Trump. It’s a very good merit, but let’s hope for some stronger candidate next time, if there ever will be a next time.
Being "not Trump" literally only worked cause of Covid. If that didn't happen, I can almost guarantee he would have won 2020. As annoying as it is, the people that would vote for a Dem candidate need to be convinced to do so and no amount of calling them lazy or accusing them of being terrible people will change that. Blue no matter who won't work.

It’s a very good merit
Not anywhere near as good as it sounds, given how difficult it is for millions of eligible voters to actually vote.
No matter how evil the alternative is, you have to give people something to vote FOR in order to convince them to risk their livelihood while waiting in line in November weather for sometimes half a dozen or more hours, quite likely with children in tow or while paying for unaffordable childcare.
The DNC won't hear of it, though. They're a for-profit corporation that exists to maximize legal (and sometimes illegal) bribes coming their way, regardless of electoral outcomes.

Ultimately americans need to turn over 3/4 of their sitting politicians by 2028 or else the power structure will remain unchanged.

I'd love for her to run again and take votes away from Gavin Newsom in the primary so an actual working class candidate can win the nomination.
We can thank elizabeth warren for biden since you bring that up, our great progressive champion that knowingly threw the primary to genocide joe.
DNC will fail to read the room on 2028. Lesser evil is over, time to earn votes

If she wants to win, she needs to be out there today pushing back against the regime. Instead, there's crickets. That's a "No" vote from me.
Nobody in the DNC are pushing. They are all afraid. When the 2026 election is stolen, they will still do nothing.
I mean, if she manages to win a contested primary, she'll be a better candidate.
If nothing else, maybe she and Gavin will split the Goober vote and let some fresh blood in
I bet the super delegates push both of them until it's just those two. Then they will have a battle of the corporate shill old guards.
I hope she does run again, because this time she’ll have to face a contested primary. I can’t wait to laugh my ass off when Kamala garners less than 3% of the primary votes. Hope the dumbass DNC wastes several hundred million on her before that happens too, serves them right to back corpo trash like Harris. Not like they’ll ever learn the right lessons from any of this anyway.

Yeah, I don't think Harris is the candidate, but who is? I'm skeptical that democratic voters can reach a consensus on a candidate. I'm sure establishment/moderate Democrats can come to a consensus on their candidate, and progressives can come to a consensus on their candidate, but there's only one party nomination. Will the progressives vote for the candidate the moderates come up with? Will the moderates vote for the candidate the progressives come up with?
Right now, we have only one priority, and everything else has to take a back seat until we fully accomplish that objective: We have to crush MAGA decisively, and purge it from our government and our society. We cannot address all the other problems this nation faces as long as we have treasonous, corrupt, racist, pedophiles cheating, bribing, stealing, intimidating their way into power, and keeping good things from happening to this country.
So the next Democratic president has to be a Warrior. We cannot afford any more feckless Democrats like Biden and Obama, who stood by and watched as the larval Republicans morphed into their final stage: MAGA, and stole America right out from under their noses.
The next president needs to know that we expect them to FIGHT for us. We are in unprecedented times, and we will require unprecedented solutions, and we need a President who isn't afraid to act decisively toward the true National Security Threat that a violent domestic terrorist organization like MAGA genuinely represents.
I will support the candidate who pledges to fully crush MAGA, and MEANS it.
I'm not sure who that person is yet, but I'm looking at Mark Kelly, Pritzker, and a couple others. There are a few I would love to see in the office, like AOC or Warren, but they can't get elected right now. Newsome is a phony billionaire lover.
I'm waiting for that Warrior to step up, and declare war on MAGA. THAT'S my guy.

I think Kamala would be a okay President (as in, "not a fucking idiot" ), however she's still a corporate pawn, Israeli shill and centre right like most other Dems who's main selling point is "not Trump". There are few good options within the whole party who actually support social agendas and not whatever a company's lobbyists or Zionists are paying them to support.
But more crucially, she's a woman, and not white and for 50% of the voting population (i.e. the ones who actually get off the couch to go vote), their racism and misogyny is more than enough reason to not vote for her - in fact, they'd relish in not doing so as it supports their fundamental principles of being a cunt.
