Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

People still don't get it.

Did the Gestapo lawyer up?

[–] Janx@piefed.social 107 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

They fucking murdered him. Knowingly. If I abandon you in the middle of the desert and you die, that's a homicide.

[–] vegeta@lemmy.world 92 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Why? They obviously had to drop the domestic terrorist off in self defense after he tried to run them over and inflict mass casualties on them with his deadly walking stick.

This person was in jail, literally in jail, because he was blind and he accidentally walked onto someone's property.

That's tantamount to accidently stepping on a sidewalk crack and breaking your mother's back.

A life, an actual human life, has been wiped out now because of the sequence of these events. Like how fucking cooked is this place?

That walking stick is now classified a weapon of mass destruction. TSA needs more hellfire missiles now.

[–] partial_accumen@lemmy.world 18 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

That walking stick

You mean his antifa woke vegan truncheon? /s

[–] Manjushri@piefed.social 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Considering that his walking stick was actually a curtain rod, this is a major issue. There are curtain rods of mass destruction in the vast majority of houses around the world, I should think. They are going to need a lot of hellfire missiles to deal with this emerging threat.

I guess Israel is going to have to bomb the nearest elementary school

Could the dildo of consequence be pointed in her direction?

J/k. That's a myth. The only consequence these ghouls ever face is losing a job so they can become talking heads on right wing media. ETA: Or secretary of defense.

ETA: Or secretary of defense.

*Secretary of war(crimes)

I mean, if they can just name it whatever they want whenever they want, I feel like o can do that too as a taxpayer. I like Department of Buttstuff.

[–] postmateDumbass@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

MCC could be hiring?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 20 points 2 days ago (1 children)

This entire crime wave calling itself an "administration" should ALL be in prison.

Nothing will happen to her. She will die old and in mansion, complications from her 23rd plastic surgery.

[–] notwhoyouthink@lemmy.zip 1 points 16 hours ago

So like…next week?

On her next operation?!

[–] Didntdoit71@feddit.online 8 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago) (1 children)

The American people can change that...but we won't because we're too comfortable making pithy comments online while our country dies around us, rather than suffer a few moments of moral fortitude. This country no longer has cancer...it is a cancer.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 0 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Don't assume everyone on Lemmy lives in your shit hole.

[–] Arcadeep@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

I can't really even comprehend the point of this sarcastic ass remark. Like, no shit not everyone on Lemmy is American, but you made a comment about an American traitor and got a response about Americans and you're upset about this?

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

It was disgraceful what happened to that man. Even the trespassing case was just awful and abusive

[–] MyOpinion@lemmy.today 19 points 2 days ago

These MAGAts need to all be sent to Guantanamo.

[–] stupidcasey@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Doesn't she have access to the largest legal firm on earth?

[–] VitoRobles@lemmy.today 7 points 1 day ago

Largest? Nah.

Most experienced? Also nah.

Gov has been losing lawsuits left and right. The root issue is enforcement.
