A lot of ancient, ancient history looks like a repeating cycle of barbarism, socialism, nation-states, dictatorships, and then barbarism before the cycle repeats

I'm looking very forward to reaching the "we will make no excuses for terror" article. Unfortunately i'm still a whole volume away. Its been interesting though, there's lotsa interesting stuff in the NRZ articles

Note to self - don't expect too much from Europe or North America where they're most definitely forming colonial empires, imperialism, and its basis.
