It isn’t about the files FFS. Nobody is prosecuting him. Nobody. Just another distraction focusing everyone’s attention away from trump doing his best to seize permanent power.

Oh, an they might lift oil sanctions on Russia. Way to go, rewarding the country helping Iran send bombs to US bases.

[–] electric_nan@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 days ago

Lifting sanctions on Russian oil is about offsetting the impacts of the strait of Hormuz closing. As far as anyone helping Iran bomb US bases: fucking good!

In case you had any doubt what this whole Iran affair is really about...

[–] outofthisworld@lemmy.org 66 points 4 days ago (24 children)

When the United States fakes an attack on US soil by Iran, Trump will be able to declare martial law without pushback. Once he has that kind of control he will destroy the Epstein files permanently. He will also never give up martial law and will become a dictator that will pass on to other dictators for the next hundred years. This is the future of the United States of America unless the man is taken care of.

False flag shit. Like the angry young fellas from Bucks county? That wasn’t Isis. That was some angry young dudes that identified with Isis. Isis would have sent (Cough, ahem) more qualified individuals to do this sort of bidding. I do hope that the one right wing C word, unfluencer that shows up repeatedly to things like this, falls and hits his head rather quickly. I am tiring of his ugliness. I am a straight Cis male so you know if a MF’er is so ugly and it triggers me this much, there is one takeaway. That Sumbitch reeeeaaaalllllyyyy ugly. I hope the Isis wannabes can fuck him up severely one day. Then, they’ll probably just “grow out of that type of behavior”. They are just young and somewhat misguided.

The worst of it is already gone if I had to guess. When the FBI got hacked it lost 100TB of data relating to the investigation. 100TB ain't gonna be emails, that's media.

[–] 6stringringer@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago

Ahhh, yep. Win some, lose some. That’s just another day at the office.

[–] outofthisworld@lemmy.org 26 points 4 days ago

People don’t lose data from being hacked. The FBI has backups of backups. Even I can’t “lose a file” if I tried because everything I do has very basic consumer level backups. If they “lost” something, it was destroyed internally… and even still there’s probably a copy.

I don't think this is even true. It is more that media (owned by the same elites) can temporarily escape to Iran so they report it.

Meanwhile the records about victim's interview that they were hiding were released and they look quite bad.

Well if, "analyst says" I guess we just pack it up, boys...

[–] 4am@lemmy.zip 110 points 4 days ago (4 children)

My interest hasn’t plummeted, I just haven’t been reading as many news articles about it because there hasn’t been as many.

Please tell me this report isn’t that fucking stupid

[–] 6stringringer@lemmy.zip 10 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Here is what you get for lying like this.

[–] jaennaet@sopuli.xyz 1 points 2 days ago (1 children)

“And if you look at searches on Google for the Epstein files, they’ve plummeted since this started. So, at least temporarily, it’s succeeding. It’s taking up Congress’ time and it’s taking up the media’s time,” he added.

Which part of that is a lie, exactly?

[–] 6stringringer@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I should rebrand/phrase. I meant the ones trying on a new reason every five minutes for why we’re at war. They are lying to us on the daily to take the focus from the Epstein files. Deceiving & fibbing to divert interest in the files. That’s a paddlin.

[–] jaennaet@sopuli.xyz 2 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Riiiight, yes, gotcha. Hard to disagree with that

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 50 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Not amongst quality people it didn't.

Trump raped kids.

[–] foggy@lemmy.world 10 points 4 days ago

There are almost definitely greater than 0 human skeletons buried at his golf courses.

The Iran War, [what would famously be known as the Epstein War,] began at the most convenient time possible for the PedophileOTUS. The name fits, arguably better than Microslop.

Interest went down sure, but it's not going away. Trump will dream the files are done but no fucking way they are

[–] RabbitBBQ@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)

This is why they are declaring Mission Accomplished

[–] InternetCitizen2@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

We should troll them back and ask if the Epstein Files were found in Tehran.

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 60 points 4 days ago
[–] Ghostie@lemmy.zip 18 points 3 days ago

Fuck off, Shaiel. They haven’t.

That is what main stream media (owned by the billionaires licking between Shitler's toes) WANTS you to think. They WANT you to stop talking about it.

Don't fall for their bullshit.

KEEP TALKING ABOUT IT AND DON'T LET UP!

Where are the TRUMPSTEIN FILES! Release the TRUMPSTEIN FILES! Prove you didn't rape children, didn't EAT CHILDREN and have them killed! If you didn't do it, you should be happy to show that you didn't fucking do it.

[–] Gathorall@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

You know, if they're not going to impeach and prosecute, which they are not, the Epstein files are irrelevant. The American populace has the exact same toolset to topple Trump as they would have if he was revealed a cannibal pedophile. He's just apparently a good enough guy that Americans aren't willing to use them.

[–] Sam_Bass@lemmy.world 16 points 4 days ago

That Anal list is wrong

[–] rogsson@piefed.social 16 points 4 days ago

So where are those files?

[–] HubertManne@piefed.social 31 points 4 days ago

I mean nope. just because a mountain range overshadows a single mountain in it does not mean it disapears.

[–] Pacattack57@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

I vote we change the name to the Sasha Riley files

[–] Binturong@lemmy.ca 24 points 4 days ago

Forgive me for not believing one unaccountable analyst. I still see and hear people talking about the files all around me constantly.

[–] Itdidnttrickledown@lemmy.world 19 points 4 days ago

No it didn't. The media has an excuse to ignore it more.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 13 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Operation ~~Epic Fury~~ Epstein Files will not distract us from the fact that the Orange Jackass is covering up the Epstein Files.

If this is true his distraction really worked. But thanks to Kimmel and Colbert, they keep on reminding the public that watch them. Every night. 😁
