I remember when I first heard that they were elevating his son my mind jumped to it being a young and dynamic war time figurehead. Someone who could grab a gun and pose with the troops for propaganda. Then I remembered that the former guy was 86. All these leaders are so fucking old their children already have gray hairs. This guy fought in the Iran-Iraq War back in the 80s.

Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

Not necessarily, Iran wasn't taking the threat from Israel and the US seriously when Khamenei the elder was assassinated, but they certainly are now. I think it depends on how much intel Israel is still getting from inside Iran
