COVID likely would not have become a global pandemic, and president Pence would likely be in the middle of his third presidential term if Republicans in Congress had the moral spine to impeach him in January 2020.
The Trump-Epstein Files™
We keep track of the release of the files, but also to explore what’s already available, and why – with enough exposure – this could bring the man down, and who knows even his regime or the empire.

"But that's communism!"
Or if trial of Netanyahu proceeded faster
Not sure it works that way. Great man theory is not a great model for how history unfolds. The third reich didn't end because Hitler died, Hitler died because the third reich ended. Saying the US illegally attacked Iran because of Trump has the same depth of analysis as saying the murder of Franz Ferdinand is why WWI happened.
Also, the word is children
Agreed. This war happened because Iran supplies a large quantity of oil to China, and the oligarchs are fucking terrified of the rise of communism and the implications it has for their way of life. This war and the attack on Venezuela are both part of the encirclement strategy that capitalists are employing in an attempt to choke China’s economy before the west is eclipsed.
They’ve left it too late though, China’s green revolution will soon free them and the global south from the capitalist oil hegemony.
Fake news conservative media has had a part to play in leading us here. Fucking pieces of shit.
Damn, this site is astroturfed.
I definitely don't care about the american troops
CHILDREN, not students.
Students can be adults.
It was 168 little kids.
CHILDREN, not students.
Children attending a girl's school at the time of the bombing. The iconic photo of the incident was blood-splattered backpacks. I'd say "student" is spot on.
Also kinda flies in the face of the endless White Nationalist propaganda, insisting women in Iran are all prisoners in their own homes and treated as chattel to be sold off for profit by their parents. These girls were slaughtered, in no small part, because the American military feared that they would grow up to join the Iranian professional class. By becoming doctors and teachers and engineers - perhaps even nuclear scientists - they posed the same existential risk to American Hegemony that Cuban doctors and South African teachers and Chinese engineers present.
It was 168 little kids.
It was 168 future Iranian adults. Future patriots who might continue the project of the 1979 Revolution in defiance of a Global US Hegemony. Future members of the intelligensia who might contribute to the Iranian economy and polity. Future mothers to the next generation of Iranians.
Just like with Palestine, the murder of kids is paramount to the project of ethnically cleansing a nation. Especially if the children are in a position to one day become peers of and competitors to your nation's own children.
I won't pretend Iran is the beginning, but I predict that the American embrace of genocidal policy will continue to spread - west and south of Syria and Libya, north and east of Iran - until every member of the Global South is once again put into their place or exterminated.
Huh? No one is arguing the facts. It's the rhetoric in the post that is being commented on.
And from that list all you US ppl really care about is the gas prices.
Not all, but how bad policy affects your pocket drives (pun intended) home a point to people who lack empathy.
I just filled up my 25 year old Subaru and spent $55. That's a significant percentage of the value of the car at this point in its life. Some people can't do that once or twice a week, and in a country that basically mandates you drive, outside of major metropolitan centers, it sucks.
The world would be a better place with this pedophile in jail but don't assume US wouldn't have start another war without him.

Tell me again, who's fault is it? Who failed to persecute Trump after he failed to return the confidential files? Or his hush money endeavour?
Republicans forget who was president when covid started
Democrats forget who was president when the genocide started
If you think President Harris doesn't follow Israel into war with Iran, you are dumb
Democrats forget who was president when the genocide started
They didn't forget; they're in denial. The left was pretty vocal at the time about how Biden was bending over backwards to assist Netanyahu in his war crimes. They should be sharing a cell right now.
Democrats forget who was president when the genocide started
Joseph Biden wasn't president of Israel.
If you think President Harris doesn’t follow Israel into war with Iran
Mmm, useless speculation. Tastes like shit.
If you think President Harris doesn't follow Israel into war with Iran, you are dumb
I guess we will never know and are stuck with the hundreds of dead on our hands (so far).
I wonder 🤔 will independents remember who allowed a dictator to install themselves because they decided to gamble at the worst time?
oh that's right, independent voters have an aversion to reality and refuse to accept any responsibility for the outcome of the 2024 election results.
that sounds oddly familiar...

Not just independents. A lot of Democrats didn't vote for Harris, either.
It is everybody's responsibility to vote, and just because you didn't hear about any anti-genocide candidates, that doesn't mean that they weren't on the ballot. In 2024, we had two of them: Jill Stein and Cornel West. Together, they didn't even get 1% of the vote.
passing that buck back to democrats I see.
Stein was a candidate not grounded in reality. West was barely even talked about outside of independent voter circles.
the only candidate that had any real hope of winning against Trump was Harris. not because she was the best. because she was the only candidate put forward by the opposition party, and she wasn't Trump. she was the only candidate with a history with voters. she was literally the only candidate talked about other than Trump.
The DNC wasn't trying to win the election, they were trying to stay in power.
Independents were not trying to win the election, they were grasping for power.
the failures of both parties and their ineptitude allowed the Trump regime to steal the seat.
2024 was a pivotal moment when both democrats and independents should have put their differences aside and put forward a singular candidate that wasn't Biden, Harris, Stein, or West.
Instead the American public got the same old song and dance, which the republican party has proven they can work around again and again.
so, whose fault is it that Trump gained the seat again? American voters who failed to read the room and pass their votes grounded in reality. not the DNC. not Independent organizations.
passing that buck back to democrats I see.
I'm not passing the buck. I'm giving them credit. Not voting for Harris was the right thing to do.
Stein was a candidate not grounded in reality.
Stein wanted to stop arms shipments to Israel. Trump and Harris wanted to continue them.
Stein wanted universal, single-payer healthcare. Trump and Harris did not.
I could go on and on, but if Stein wasn't "grounded in reality", then neither is progressivism.

Wouldn't it make more sense to unite behind a candidate who already had ballot lines and party infrastructure? I supported Rocky Anderson in 2012. He was trying to build out his party during his presidential campaign. He was not able to get on enough ballots to get the required number of electors to win. I did not vote for Rocky Anderson in 2012.

still refusing to take any responsibility.
Stein wanted to stop arms shipments to Israel. Trump and Harris wanted to continue them.
an ineffective way to maintain diplomatic ties with a country that helps our country maintain control of the middle east. a poor choice that would only allow Russia or the Saudis to grasp complete control which would only further expose the US to foreign attacks.
Stein wanted universal, single-payer healthcare. Trump and Harris did not.
that will never happen until all of Congress is filled with politicians that are willing to allow that to happen. Also, Stein lacks the tactics and connections in Washington to even start the conversation to accomplish this.
I could go on and on, but if Stein wasn't "grounded in reality", then neither is progressivism.
I'm glad you're starting to catch on. progress happens slowly and just winning an election won't fix all our problems. voting for Harris would have fixed one problem. Trump.

who the fuck is Rocky Anderson? you want regular Americans to vote for people they have never heard of before. this is what I mean by "grounded in reality".
a candidate that has zero recognition, zero national contributions, zero prospects, zero experience has zero chance of ever becoming president.
wouldn't it make more sense to unite behind a candidate that has a chance of blocking the most powerful governing seat in the world from the worlds most corrupt criminal? even if that candidate wasn't perfect for the job, they still would have been better than allowing the corruption to fill the seat and ruin it for generations.
🤷 we'll never know how bad or good it could have been though, so no use in arguing over it.
Israel had attempted to goad the U.S. into going to war with Iran since G.W. Bush was president by using the "We are going to strike with or without you" excuse. Bush knew it was a trick. Obama knew it was a trick. Trump's people in the first admin knew it was a trick. Biden knew it was a trick.
Only an unrestrained Trump surrounded by evangelical warhawks who believe in starting a holy war to bring about the end times would be dumb enough to take Israel's bait. It was a complete unforced error.
Kamala couldn't possibly be described as tough on Israel, but I doubt she would have surrounded herself with Fox News sycophants who could possibly convince her to jump at the chance to begin a new protracted war in the Middle East. Only Trump is uniquely unqualified enough to do such a thing.
No, unfortunately the president of the US tends to go along with the swamp on foreign policy decisions, therefore we would be in the exact same situation regardless of the election.
Here is a link to a Kamala Harris speech on the official Biden white house archives. This was less than a month before the election.
We know Hamas is not the only threat Israel faces. On October 8, Hezbollah began launching rockets at Israel, and the Houthis in Yemen began targeting Israeli cities.
And what is the common thread? Well, we all know: Iran, which has now also directly attacked Israel twice.
I am clear-eyed. Iran is a destabilizing and dangerous force.
When Donald Trump was president, he let Iran off the hook. After Iran and its proxies attacked U.S. bases and American troops, Trump did nothing. And he pulled out of the nuclear deal without any plan, leading to an unconstrained Iranian nuclear program.
On the other hand, our administration struck Iranian proxies in Iraq and Syria when they attacked American troops, and we are the first administration to ever directly defend Israel.
Make no mistake, as president, I will never hesitate to take whatever action is necessary to defend American forces and interests from Iran and Iran-backed terrorists, and I will never allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon.
Diplomacy is my preferred path to that end, but all options are on the table.
She literally called Trump a pussy for not bombing Iran more and pledges to start a war with Iran if necessary for the express goal of defending Israel.
Trump deserves to be called a hypocrite for campaigning on the opposite of this, but really we never had a choice.
really we never had a choice.
We did, actually. Her name was Jill Stein.
Uhhhhh kinda. I did vote for her once but let's be honest it's a protest vote more than anything. Much ink has already been spilled about how the system is hostile to third party candidates and why.
Nah, we already have a Russian plant in the White House.
I remember the 1980s when the Republicans were accusing their political opponents of being commies or "pinkos" or some secret agents of Russia, but I never dreamed that Red Scare nonsense would get resurrected in the Democratic Party. Pretty funny. You aren't as different as you think you are.
Um, except Jill Stein has verifiable ties to the Kremlin.
Also, I'm not a fucking Democrat I'm a fucking socialist.
Also, the red scare was in the '50s and '60s, not the '80s.
Um, except Jill Stein has verifiable ties to the Kremlin.
Stein was investigated as part of the probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election, and she was cleared of any wrongdoing.
Also, I'm not a fucking Democrat I'm a fucking socialist.
Sorry for the assumption. I heard Democratic Party talking points, so I thought you were a Democrat.
Also, the red scare was in the '50s and '60s, not the '80s.
Conservatives were still paranoid about Russian agents in the '80s. That was my point.
I agree.
They'd also be alive if our two ruling parties didn't have the same positions on Israel and hiding the Epstein Files.
I still think trump did more than any other president last 20 years. By making it clear for those who doubted the illusion of choice
Where does that lead us though? Does knowing for sure, instead of just knowing, justify putting trump in office?
Does neutralizing the threat of a democratic socialist justify putting Trump in office?
Yeah, Biden had the files too. It’s not like there’s any shortage of Israel worshipping Iran warhawks on the dem side, either.
Things might have been a little different but I doubt they’d be as different as OP thinks.
Biden did nothing in reaction to a Coup attempt and scapegoated Garland. Nobody bats an eye at that, it's insane. I think the federal court seal on Epstein Files is true to an extent but that wasn't the only thing they could've taken Trump down with. They chose to punish nobody important for Jan 6th, emboldening the new confederates.
Biden also could have said "fuck the seal" and declassified and published them anyways. Even if they were later retracted and deleted from the DOJ website, the internet would share them around.
Of course Joe Biden and the wider DNC didn't want those documents released, because they would implicate big Democrat donors and create mass-disillusionment. They got released now as a way to spite Trump, and perhaps because whatever disarray they incited would be under Trump's rule... or perhaps because Democrats correctly determined that the USA wasn't going to riot or enact a mass-strike or do anything "radical" after learning that their entire life has been played by billionaire sex-trafficking child-raping baby-eating pedophiles </3
It's almost like the two parties work together and hold a monopoly on our political system. A duopoly, if you will.
Biden had the files too.
"The Epstein files were not released during the Biden administration (2021–2025) primarily because they were under strict federal court seals related to ongoing criminal investigations and the appeal of Ghislaine Maxwell."
Google is your friend if you know how to use it. Stop spreading misinformation online. You are being part of the problem.
Epstien's flight logs were publicly released during the Ghislaine Maxwell trial which occured before he ever took office. The FBI raided Little Saint James in 2019. But sure, lets pretend the president had absolutely no idea about it because they didn't publicly release a folder labeled "The Epstien Files" while he was in office.
