No sane person 'loves' abortions. Many people see the need for them, though.

Moderator Guidelines
Moderator Guidelines
- Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
- Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
- When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
- Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
- Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
- Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
- Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
- Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
- Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
- Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
- Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
- First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
- Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
- Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
- Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.
Enjoying/loving abortions is a running joke among pro-choice people. Obviously an abortion is an emotional and often traumatic experience which nobody wants to go through, but leaning into the absurdity of having to defend the right to do something unpleasant can help someone to deal with the stress/trauma of the abortion.
Obviously nobody loves the act of an abortion, but I think it's fair to assume when this person says they "love" them, they mean they love that people who would die without them can have them, and victims of sexual abuse can gain control over their life.
Also, any woman who is pregnant can have one for any reason. We don't just want them to be available for medical necessity and victims of abuse.
Also using that phrase is usually designed to trigger someone.
Sane people love having the option of abortions tho. Its a necessary evil
I hate abortions. But I would fight with all my soul to keep them legal.
What I want is a world where abortions are legal, but no one ever needs one.
I used to think this way... Then I realized that I don't feel the same way about someone having a benign growth removed, so why should I care so much about people having abortions?
I'm ambivalent towards them.
I don't think it's a benign growth.
At some point, it crosses from "potential human being" to "actual human being", and I wish we never had to make that call.
But we do, and it's okay that we do. We are adults, most of us at least, we are able to consider that sometimes a sub-ideal choice is still the correct one to make.
The real solution to abortions is sexual education, contraception, and overall societal change.
I think people should be able to get abortions whenever the want to ; but I also think we should create a world where people (almost) never actually want to, because (almost) every pregnancy was desired by the person getting pregnant.
This is the way

The real punk rock is the friends we made along the way
i like to imagine this version of superman also likes to get high and him and lois are poly and they've got an ongoing fwb situation with batman
I can imagine Clark being too much of a boy scout to try weed. "Sorry, it looks like a lot of fun, but I promised Ma I wouldn't. I can still hang, if you'd like. I've got snacks."
Definitely the kinda guy who notices someone taking an illegal drug, then spends the night checking up on them to make sure they're okay. He asks if there's anyone they came with and offers to drive them home, since he's only been drinking diet coke the entire night. Then he texts them in the morning, just to be safe.
He's exactly the type to have spent a lot of high school trip sitting and dding
Do weed even affect him
he is an alien so maybe some random mundane stuff from our world would get him hi as a kite
No, but he promised Ma Kent he would not do drugs.
no see this is the cool superman who was raised by the cool Kents. they taught him about drugs and how to be responsible and safe with them. sometimes they'll even get high together during the holidays, like a loving family should.

He is the cool Superman, but he's still Clark Kent, the boyscout.
Just look at his attitude towards swearing. He never condemns anyone's swearing (except in cut dialogue about saying "pussy" in front of children), but his swears of choice are "golly" and "what the hey". He will quote people using "supershit", but makes it clear he doesn't approve of it.
I do believe that the Kents would teach him about safe drug use, since they grew up in the 70s, but only so he'll be safe. Then he uses what they taught him to make sure everyone else is safe, not so he can do it himself.
People should know - Supergirl visits other planets, with red sun, to party because she can't get drunk on Earth. Shown at the end of this film.
