Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Whoever/whatever Russia favours and chooses to fund tells you precisely who/what would strategically weaken the UK the most. Brexit is a prime example.

It's not that the right has been bought or infiltrated by Russia, or that it somehow aligns with Russia ideologically.

It's literally that the Russian administration has identified the right as UK's biggest economic and political liability, and wants to invest in us fucking ourselves over.

If it has worked for them so spectacularly in the US with Trump weakening America, why wouldn't they try doing it to us? A few million in donations here and there is absolute peanuts for the potential strategic impact.

The magical completely aligned "Russia" made up of a psychically linked hivemind controlling all of the decisions made by Russians. Using their might and unending supply of capital for influencing right wingers in the west, they will destabilise all these nations to "win" (win what? Nobody knows). Putin and his cabal of totally not Judeo-bolshevik stand ins will then use their insidious mind control powers to take over all of the west for the benefit of a pathetically weak and withered set of Russian capitalists who all got their cheeks clapped when the war in Ukraine started.

Fucking re-heated antisemitism repackaged as anti-Russian propaganda all in order to launder the reputation of the ruling class at home. The capital owners who dwarf Russian capital by orders of magnitude, the political and economic system that easily and without a second thought was capable of severing the Russian access to the global financial markets and transaction systems.

If you believe this stupidity is somehow all being puppeteered by the Russian admin then you need your head checked.
