he was such a versatile actor. more than he gets credit for. Going from watching him in Jurassic Park as a child to seeing him in Possession years later, it was hard to believe it was the same actor.
Damn. Heartbreaking. He was running a farm in new Zealand, sharing the absolute best, most hilarious and beautiful takes from there. I'm devastated.

In the mouth of madness is another Sam Neill banger in the vein of Event Horizon. Clive Barker's input in Event Horizon is fucking spectacular though. I gotta watch these movies again!
Literally just rewatched Event Horizon last night, devastating news.
This made me sad.

Oh man, RIP to one of the greatest. The first thing I saw him in was The Hunt for Red October and then right after in Dead Calm.
Terrific actor, I always enjoyed his work.

Aw man :/ I liked him in Possession, one of the most demonic movies I have ever seen. I liked that he was always willing to take weird af roles. Extra shoutout to In the Mouth of Madness. We are all stuck on that blue busride, bro.
