Just rewatched In The Mouth of Madness last night... how did we lose him and still have mitch McConnell?

[–] Noyesster@piefed.social 1 points 14 hours ago

he was such a versatile actor. more than he gets credit for. Going from watching him in Jurassic Park as a child to seeing him in Possession years later, it was hard to believe it was the same actor.

Damn. Heartbreaking. He was running a farm in new Zealand, sharing the absolute best, most hilarious and beautiful takes from there. I'm devastated.

For me it's "Hunt for the Wilderpeople".

Me and this fat kid / We ran we ate and read books / And it was the best.

You won't need them where we're going.

you won't need them where we are going.

In the mouth of madness is another Sam Neill banger in the vein of Event Horizon. Clive Barker's input in Event Horizon is fucking spectacular though. I gotta watch these movies again!

Literally just rewatched Event Horizon last night, devastating news.

This made me sad.

I certainly don't want to die playing a round of golf. And I don't want to die like Elvis. That's all they remember about him.

Sam Neill

Elvis is remembered for a LOT more than that.

Oh man, RIP to one of the greatest. The first thing I saw him in was The Hunt for Red October and then right after in Dead Calm.

Terrific actor, I always enjoyed his work.

[–] Sir_Premiumhengst@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago

Oh fuck! Rest in piece! Past the Event horizon.

Aw man :/ I liked him in Possession, one of the most demonic movies I have ever seen. I liked that he was always willing to take weird af roles. Extra shoutout to In the Mouth of Madness. We are all stuck on that blue busride, bro.

[–] tired_lemming@sh.itjust.works 10 points 1 day ago

Man he was a good one. Loved his body of work.

[–] Maybelline@lemmy.zip 13 points 1 day ago

I should have liked to have seen Montana
