It was a large group with maybe six adults and a dozen babies. They're in a protected riparian zone next to a bike trail.

They're Perfect Babies from Heaven. In Colorado they're just aethereal fairy birds that dart across trails and patrol around cities. I rarely see them, but it's always a marker of good urban greenspace.
