I was hoping to do ~3 full sections a month, but I'll be lucky to get 2 sections done in July. Ah well. Slower through this B1 book than I expected but maybe I'll pick things up / go a bit faster moving forward. 6 months to finish B1 is just a number I threw down. If it takes me longer, no biggie. But I'll still kinda-sorta aim at this as my goal.

Falling behind. Not exactly in exam day triage mode yet, but I can see it from here. Nothing I can do but keep pushing when I can. I picked a hell of a year to take the JLPT.
On the plus side, only 750 new notes left in Anki (maybe 400-450 cards or so), still on pace to clear that early/mid-September. That'll feel really good. My SRS journey has been so long. Sometime next year I'll put the program away, maybe for good unless I decide I want to do some focused vocab study in a certain domain or something.
My basic/early intermediate grammar discrimination is feeling really sharp lately, too. Love having a sense of innate mastery, that developing gut feeling that makes everything work so much faster. Want more of it!
I've been sucking and getting rusty, but I actually got a fair bit of practice this week. I'm wondering if I should restart a proper subscription, since my finances have room for it again.
Had 2 really bad days, still more bad days to come, but those are further in the future.
Managing with roughly 15-30 mins of Japanese, about 15 mins Spanish. Doing 5 mins maths. Doing about 1-2 chess matches a day too. Haven't touched my Lojban whatsoever though, however I'm also recently trying to exercise more too and that takes a bit.
Talking with someone new who is also learning Japanese, so now I have another new Japanese buddy.
Ōlelo hawai'i is going too fast. I need to catch up from lessons this week
Ooh, what resource(s) are you using? I've been doing Duolingo but ever since they removed the comments with often useful responses from nā Kumu, it's been more challenging.
I was looking at trying the videos from the Kamehameha, because I have a nephew enrolled there. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLb3n-QSZVBPvyTPmPWA2BSREbF8V_tv7
Get plenty Ōlelo hawai’i from Kumu Kaliko: https://vimeo.com/1211697842/a84d21ffdd
I think I paid 300 for the course (level 1A, but gonna probably do 1A again before 1B).
