20-30 an hour? Sign me up chief. I already work a dead lights office job. I already float down here.

$20-30 sounds low until you realize most of the compensation is in AI tokens. think-about-it

That actually sounds crazy high for a bullshit nonsense job, it’s significantly more than I make in a job with a degree and years of experience

High for a job that requires very little skill, but pretty low for a programming job. I mean considering anyone can figure out how to communicate with AI well enough to get it to spit out something in a few weeks that ain’t bad.

But what’s the job security like as the price of AI goes up? When you’re vibe coding everything because you don’t understand anything you’re going to blow through tokens.

Well shitcoin

Remote vibe code 20-30 an hour? Not going to make you rich but it could sustain a digital nomad life. Get you out of this shithole empire.

They can't use "cushy job for my failson nephew" as a job title so they have to go with the next best thing.

Real programmers know the Ballmer peak is where actual productivity happens not this ai slop

The only AI I need is a high ABV IPA

Missed opportunity to call it prompt-gineer

Great time for those with a portfolio full of abandoned, barely functional, and insecure slop projects

If I use chatgpt to make spaghetti code can I get some of this dosh? My coding experience is zilch.

No go for it if you've got the panazz to fake it til you make it give it a shot, why not. Worst case scenario you either don't get a job or you do get a job and get fired. Best case scenario you get stupid money for doing nothing, maybe even get promoted to Director of AI Directing or some nonsense

live the dream I'm too nervous to even attempt, live it for both of us

And it's a do nothing job, you just have to pretend you're a petty bourgeois pool supply store owner and tell it to do better or try harder or think smarter if it's not giving you the results you want

Dang that's good pay, I need to have a bunch of vibecoded projects attached to a github for linkedin now I see.

Ive been thinking about trying to get into this grift because I feel like i could pull it off, but I know nothing about code and I feel like I need to be at least a CS dropout to be able to tell if the bullshit the machine spews out looks legible or not
