almost always a white lady doing this.

The stank face he gave her about halfway through is perfect.
"Talking about Jesus is making people uncomfortable?"
No. YOU are making people uncomfortable. Christianity is not being asked to leave the plane, YOU are. Using blessings to attack people is like using perfume to hide your asshole.
using perfume to hide your asshole.
Then where am I supposed to put the bottle?
Performative victimhoood.
"truly, she has received her reward"
- Jesus
These types of Christians always immediately jump into some persecution complex once they get some push back. Like it's a sign of the end timds. Real cult behaviour
HELP HELP IM BEING ~inconvenienced~
Her make-up make me feel unsafe, yikes.
Separation of church and plane, please.
Separation of church and sane for her
Yes, this is exactly what will convince me to follow your religion.
They don't care. They want to look good to their ingroup. It's very performative.
Beyond the obvious bad faith (ironically), her sense of entitlement is really incredible. An all-American sense of entitlement.
It wasn't the message that made people uncomfortable, it was the delusional self-righteous weirdo, who wasn't going to shut up for the next few hours, preaching at people stuck in a tin can with her. A psycho like her, who thinks death is her big beginning, is capable of anything.
Idk, preaching that you're going to hell if you don't accept Jesus isn't particularly nice to hear
Historically, religious zelots praising God on a plane has not ended well...
All true, but the message itself is also quite uncomfortable, really, I don't need to hear that in an airplane or on the street, for that matter.
She knows what she's doing. This is the desired outcome. It's not about preaching the gospel. It's about supporting the narrative that Christians are persecuted, even if you have to deliberately generate the appearance of persecution through ridiculous behavior.
I think next time I get on a plane I'm going to get up and start a talk about this really weird dream I had a few nights ago. It should only take about an hour or so. What, I can't do that? People will be annoyed? What about freedom of speech? Hey everyone we can no longer talk anymore to people who are a captive audience and can't leave to get away from our bullshit.
She seems to enjoy this, but the fix is very simple: lifetime ban from that particular airline. How many airlines can she continue to fly, then?
I think the fix is easier: test her faith. Toss her out at altitude. Prayer works, right?
Can't really get the doors open at altitude. Test her faith by kicking her off the plane on the ground, and see if god gets her to her destination on schedule.
You want to know why people feel unsafe with a religious zealot on board an airplane? It's because in 2001 religious zealots hijacked three planes and murdered thousands of people and terrorize the entire nation.
Fuck religion
Four planes. Two hit the twin towers, one hit the pentagon, and another crashed into a field in Pennsylvania, presumably on the way to the Whitehouse.
People don't call them Y'all qaeda for nothing. US Christians want what the theocratic system of Islam promises.
talabangicals, a-holes with casseroles,
It's no wonder, with that kind of intense training and discipling, that those young people are ready to kill themselves for the cause of Islam. I wanna see young people who are as committed to the cause of Jesus Christ as the young people are to the cause of Islam. I wanna see them as radically laying down their lives for the Gospel as they are over in Pakistan and Israel and Palestine and all those different places, you know, because we have... excuse me, but we have the truth!

Fuck religion
Beware not to conflate the thousand, likely million, different religions and belief systems that existed and exist worldwide for Abrahamic religions.
Have you ever saw some Luciferian practitioner going door-to-door preaching the words of the Lightbringer?
Have you ever saw Wiccan priestesses hijacking an airplane to try and convert people to Goddess Hekate?
Have you ever saw some Umbanda's Mãe de Santo yelling Laroyê Exu out loud?
Maybe some Thelemite trying to make people to read Liber Al Vel Legis, or some Hermetist trying to shove The Kybalion onto people's throats?
Me neither.
Similar thing goes with my Lilith-centered belief. My religious practices are mostly between me and Her, and whenever I do something public (devotional art, carving of sigils/seals, etc), it's never directed at "converting others".
So, again, beware not to conflate "religion" with the Abrahamic ones. Or you risk becoming the very kind of "religious zealot" you swore to be against.
Do not confuse spiritual belief with religion. Religion by its very definition is fanaticism.
Aren't there some pretty strict laws about taking control of an airplane like that?
Sky piracy.
Let me guess who she votes for.
Wooooooow wooooooow
And this is the kind of person who thinks a gay person existing is shoving their lifestyle choices down our throats
Impeccable professionalism of the steward whilst safely removing this dangerous nutter from the plane even in the face of all her mentally deranged discourse.
Please, I'd give anything for it to be the last days of these people.
