But this is probably just a thing that my European brain can't quite comprehend anyway.
It's a "brodozer" and they are exclusively driven by the most awful people you have ever met.
They never use them as trucks, they never go offroad, they never haul anything. The only thing they ever seem to actually do is help warn every woman in the area to ready their pepper spray and cover their drinks.
Oh shit brodozer is such a good name for this.
Seeing the one image with the kid being basically the same height as the wheels and not even reaching the underside of the chassis with their head is insane and sums up nicely why this specific type of car thankfully isn't seen (and would actually be completely illegal in this form) where I live.
Here it is still the good old tuned BMW instead, that indicates the type of people you were talking about...

That's because it is. Even a truck lifted for legitimate off-roading purposes wouldn't look like that. (That truck has a body lift and hub spacers but not bigger tires, which is pointless and stupid.)
That's what they call a "Pavement Princess," basically a truck that is done up to be useless as a truck, and will never climb anything bigger than a curb at the local waffle house.
Honestly, this doesn't even rise to the level of 'pavement princess'.
A pavement princess is a truck with a legitimate (or legitimate-looking) off-road build, but which is squeaky clean and has never seen a single speck of dirt in its life, exclusively used for posing and looking 'cool' on road. Often, they might have hidden weak spots (such as not upgrading axles and driveshafts to be able to handle larger tires properly), and those weak spots would make them actually kind of suck off road. But they at least look like legitimate off-road builds.
This brodozer shit, though, doesn't even get that far. It doesn't even look like an off-road build. It's just made to be Manspreading: the car.
For those outside the US: these are generally legal here, depending on the state. Additionally, even in places where certain mods are illegal, they are so often driven by cops or cops' sons that they are defacto legal.
That had to be one hell of a hit for it to run that fast!
