I don't see myself as being with someone who's colour-blind. Also, if she wears red lip stick in an inappropriate situation, I don't know if I could handle that.

Color blindness might be an undesired trait to pass on, but if she was able to know and articulate that she is colorblind at 4 months, there might be some other very promising genetic traits to make up for it. OP might want to reconsider rolling the dice.

I don't see myself

I'd get your mirrors checked and if that doesn't help, get a Free At-Home Vampirism Test.

[-] jtk 1 points 10 months ago

The at-home test is a mirror. The mirror experts told me my mirrors are fine. The same experts told me the test mirror is fine. I don't know what to believe. I'm going to think about it over some cod and skordalia then get back to you.

Just a lazy bit, nothing to see here.

[-] Mardoniush@hexbear.net 17 points 10 months ago

Honestly it looks like she's dodging a green flag here.

[-] DayOfDoom@hexbear.net 4 points 10 months ago

She dodged nothing.

red lip stick in an inappropriate situation

i understand this reference

[-] commiewithoutorgans@hexbear.net 5 points 10 months ago

I'm beginning to imagine this gf might be Dutch, in which case this is s reference to a recent holiday. Only issue, I've never seen a 4month-old be able to date anyone

[-] silent_water@hexbear.net 12 points 10 months ago

that's perfectly normal for a 4 month old giraffe

[-] StellarTabi@hexbear.net 12 points 10 months ago

Also, if she wears red lip stick in an inappropriate situation

No such situation exists outside of incel ideology.

[-] FunkyStuff@hexbear.net 11 points 10 months ago

NTA, not only might she wear red lipstick at the wrong time, she might wear green lipstick.

[-] DefinitelyNotAPhone@hexbear.net 9 points 10 months ago

How did a 4-month old tell you she was colorblind, and can you stand against this wall for a moment and count down from 10?

[-] PointAndClique@hexbear.net 7 points 10 months ago

Is she color blind or colour blind cos I'm prety sure thise are two different things

[-] DayOfDoom@hexbear.net 5 points 10 months ago

I thought she meant she wasn't racist. But then she kept repeating it to emphasize she couldn't see a lot of colours beyond skin tones.

[-] PointAndClique@hexbear.net 3 points 10 months ago

I would give jt about another four months and if hee conditions doesn't improve then brake up with her

[-] BountifulEggnog@hexbear.net 4 points 10 months ago

Nta, you deserve better.

[-] Dudewitbow@lemmy.zip 2 points 10 months ago

Asshole? No, superficial though, yeah

NTA. "Color" in the title, "colour" in the description. Mixing that genetic defect with color-blindness, or any other defect, or none at all, would be a cruel life to give a child.
