But they are both bat shit crazy, so looks mean nothing at this point of de-evolution.

[-] muntedcrocodile@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

[-] wheeldawg@sh.itjust.works 27 points 1 year ago

Ah the Vicky Mendez parallel

[-] kameecoding@lemmy.world 43 points 1 year ago

I just feel bad for madonna, that's a mental health issue and just sad stuff all around.

[-] NounsAndWords@lemmy.world 20 points 1 year ago

I would say the same for both.

speak for youself and the current pictures you are using I would say is about the most flattering of the one and unflattering of the other.

[-] LemmyKnowsBest@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

true I did select the best current Roseanne picture I could find, but as for the Madonna picture, that is the best current photo that exists of her, simply what she looks like now.

[-] HubertManne@kbin.social 7 points 1 year ago

her instagram is pretty recent stuff and you can see the similarity to the photo you used but more flattering I think. https://www.instagram.com/madonna/

[-] LemmyKnowsBest@lemmy.world 11 points 1 year ago

Whoa her self-curated photos are much more flattering than the candid shots the media keeps capturing 🤔

[-] HubertManne@kbin.social 13 points 1 year ago

yes. thus my flattering vs unflattering comment. its a best of this person vs worst of this person. paparazzi are known for getting the most unflatering thing they can get. here is an unflattering of rosanne https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse1.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DOIP.9sycqP26-qlbyK5E4UMPyQHaE_%26pid%3DApi&f=1&ipt=080cdf0e155de1bfe8e4ac255684a560d210d80d146ed58a7c76900237c9b690&ipo=images

She's essentially a professional model, of course posed studio shots look better than whatever random shit a paparazzi snaps.

[-] AgentGrimstone@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

But it's Instagram. Everyone's more flattering there.

Madonna looks like a giant cockroach wearing Madonna like a suit.

[-] Tathas@programming.dev 27 points 1 year ago

Can I have... some sugar... water?

It's 2023/2024 and Steve Buscemi is now more attractive than Mickey Rourke

[-] LemmyKnowsBest@lemmy.world 36 points 1 year ago

for fun I wanted to upload comparison photos of Mickey Rourke and Steve, but Steve Buscemi photos not needed; we all know what he looks like.

[-] AlfredEinstein@lemmy.world 13 points 1 year ago

I've never heard a good explanation of wtf happened to Mickey Rourke.

There's no gray area. It's like he woke up one day and had become a troll.

[-] GombeenSysadmin@feddit.uk 6 points 1 year ago

Mostly due to the boxing. Had several facial injuries, had to have reconstructive surgery on his nose and cheekbone which didn’t work, and had to teturn to surgery several times.

"Everything everywhere all at once" is the title of a movie, not something you should tell your plastic surgeon.

Imgur does not load on VPN connections

[-] LemmyKnowsBest@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

okay I think I fixed it up there.

[-] Pratai@lemmy.ca 10 points 1 year ago

They’re both uglier than each other. For different reasons.

[-] FoundTheVegan@kbin.social 7 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Madonna spent years as a sex symbol, which absolutely takes time, effort and very consenious eating. Not to mention makeup, hair and fashion. What I see in her pic is a streamlined and simple to maintain look. She already has the money and nothing left to prove so... YOLO?

[-] lightnsfw@reddthat.com 12 points 1 year ago

Then why destroy her face with terrible plastic surgery

consenious

Consensual?

Conscious?

Conscientious?

Contentious?

[-] Igloojoe@lemm.ee 5 points 1 year ago

Thats not relaxing on beauty. That's trying harder than ever and using plastic surgery / botox.

[-] bjoern_tantau@swg-empire.de 6 points 1 year ago

No, I'm not googling that.

Good on her for taking better care of herself. It is not easy, especially when you started from the left picture.
