He needs more money, he'll get it one way or another.

It's worse. Here's a better pic of the prize you see in the photo.

if you zoom it, you can see just below the medal itself "The 2025 Nobel Peace Prize medal awarded to Maria Corina Machado"

It's utterly ridiculous.

It's real but it's as stupid as it can get.

If tomorrow I meet a famous hollywood actor and they give me an Oscar statuette because I ask them for it, I still didn't win an Oscar. I just have a statuette of it, but I didn't win it.

Same happens here, just because he has the medal doesn't mean he has won a nobel prize

Not sure about the watermelon, but feta is a Greek cheese, and they use mint too so you might be right.

As I said in my first comment, I am not happy with it, but the other option is worse.

I am aware this is the lesser evil, hence "Go China".

The fact that they already have a de-facto monopoly on consumer goods doesn't mean I want them to have another one for other products.

Nah, they can believe what they want of my comment about these National Socialist ameriKKKans.

This is healthier and cheaper: you don't take a drug that has side effects and they don't have to spend tax money to pay for the drug.

See? They really are thinking of everything! You'll eat less and you won't have a tax increase because you won't need a subsidized drug to achieve it!

See why The Great Leader is president and you're not? He devised this masterful plan and you are unable to see "the bigger picture"! I bet you couldn't ace the many cognitive tests The Great Leader takes monthly as he does.

You are being overly dramatic here with your statement!

The only difference between eating 50grs of chicken a day because you are on a diet and eating 50grs of chicken a day because that's what you can afford is merely conceptual!

You are taking this with the wrong attitude! The Great Leader is making the prices go up so your weak will doesn't have any problems to stick to a diet that will make you thinner!

Good, go back to burgerland. The rest of the world don't need your shitty cars anyway.

Air-fried spinach leaves.

Add some species you like to the leaves, spray them with some olive oil and airfry for 10-15 mins at 200°C.

Makes for a great alternative to normal chips but takes some practice to find the perfect timing to make them crispy but not burned.

But we've got computer programs that do art now. And music. And creative writing.

We have computer programs that are glorified autocomplete bots. Let's not confuse a word salad that makes sense because it was fed so many books and managed to make it make sense with the creative process of actually creating something from scratch.

“The difference between Iraq and this is that (the US) didn’t keep the oil. We’re going to keep the oil,” Trump told MS NOW. “In 2016, I said we should have kept the oil. It caused a lot of controversy. Well, we should have kept the oil. And we’re going to rebuild their broken-down oil facilities, and this time we’re going to keep the oil.”

The Senate will vote next week on a bipartisan war powers resolution to block Trump from continuing military against Venezuela — a vote that takes on heightened importance after U.S. forces attacked the South American nation and arrested President Nicolás Maduro early Saturday.

The resolution to block the administration from engaging in further hostilities against Venezuela is privileged, which means Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) cannot stop it from coming to the floor.

The measure is sponsored by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.), Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.), Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.).

The move comes amid outcry from Democrats after the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts affixed Trump's name to its sign in Washington.

Donald Trump’s name is being attached to a new class of U.S. battleships that will have nuclear capabilities.

Making the announcement at an event at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, Navy Secretary John Phelan referred to the warships as “Trump-class battleships" and said a forthcoming vessel dubbed the USS Defiant will be “the largest, deadliest and most versatile and best-looking warship anywhere on the world’s oceans.”

Trump’s eponymous battleships will be armed with guns and missiles, as well as hypersonic weapons, electronic rail guns and high-powered lasers.

Taken from the readme of the app on github:

The current release provides only basic functionality, with several key features to be introduced in future versions, including:

App and device verification based on Google Play Integrity API and Apple App Attestation

Additional issuance methods beyond the currently implemented eID based method.

These planned features align with the requirements and methods described in the Age Verification Profile.

There is an issue opened to remove this as it's basically telling us that to verify our age in the EU an American corporation has the last word, making it not only a privacy nightmare but a de-facto monopoly on the phone market that will leave out of the verification checks even the fairphone (european) with /e/os.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — The FBI on Friday arrested a Wisconsin county judge accused of helping a man avoid immigration enforcement, Director Kash Patel said.

Patel made the announcement in a post on X and said his office believes Judge Hannah Dugan “intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse.”

Apparently, talking about respecting human rights is "imperialism apologia".
