Well yeah, agreed, stark differences can be scary and difficult for children to comprehend without some explaination. But this tool a full-ass adult person who knows full-well the wallowed weight of that woefully wretched word.

There's a mistake and there's being a piece of shit. He smells is all I'm saying.

Narrator: "Life could, in fact, throw many more curveballs."

I think any idea is worth listening to, it's the assertion that we must inherently accept their viewpoint as valid that is outright absurd.

Yeah, for sure! I was being tounge in cheek, mainly for my own amusement lol.

The majority of human history has shown us that no, in fact, walking does not inherently make you kinder.

Man... people can barely read my writing when I don't use cursive. Might as well be scribbles on the page if I use cursive. I learned to write with a half-cast on my writing hand though, so it was a rough go of it in general.

PLEASE JUST FUCKING MAKE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS ALREADY.

Ah that's fair, I appreciate your straightforwardness. I am definitely going to educate myself further on this. The human brain is fucking wild.

It kind of degrades my respect and trust for this community. The fact that we need a completely different subreddit so people can try to educate themselves on sensitive subjects is pretty sad. I'd get it if this guy was asking in bad faith, but it seems like a sincere question.

How do we know anything? I spend a lot of time around him, observed his behaviors and interactions with the world, and have taken away that he is more capable than some people understand. I'm not making a general observation, just a personal one, hence why I am asking for further studies to imperically show me the general data.

As a bit of a rant, what you've said is pretty silly in any context. Are you telling me body language and physical interaction are not inherent forms of communication? We evolved and worked together for millions of years without spoken word.

I think gamers as a whole, though specifically those in niche communities, need to take a long and hard look at themselves. We should celebrate the volunteers that create wonderful content for us, generally with no financial gain. Instead, commonly, there are communities that criticize and tear down every little thing they can think of. They even went as far as to doxx the poor woman. We need to be better, and we need to hold these kind of toxic trolls accountable. Especially those of us who are men, we have a responsibility to call out other men who mistreat women in the gaming industry, or gaming in general.

*Edit: I apologize if I insinuated that all gamers are guilty of this kind of behavior, that was not my intention at all. My sentiment is that many of us do not think about this kind of thing, and less are willing to speak out against their friends. We need to be better about that as a whole. I appreciate you as a person if you are already of this mindset.

A Warning on Dosage (lemmy.world)

Make sure you watch your labels. My Dr changed the individual lamictal MG from four 100mg, to two 200mg. No one told me, and I didn't notice and ended up taking 800mg for a week. I ended up in the emergency room with the inability to see properly, and couldn't keep myself standing. So yeah, I overdosed on twice the maximum dosage, which damn near killed me - all because my Dr randomly changed my prescription and no one told me about it. Maybe I should have noticed, but I had the same prescription for the last 6 years.

So my point is, don't be like me, make sure you read your labels. It could be your life, and a lot of pain and fear if you're not observant

This has probably been asked before, but I was hoping to hear what method people have had the most success with. My wife won't let me get any more games unless I make room on the bookshelf lol.

I'm going with a couple of friends, and was just wondering if there's anything I should know, or do in particular? First time going to something like this.

This is Nelson. He's honestly fine with it.
