I know that, in my mind the algorythm or maybe better to said the algorythm's parameters run on client side, no need to create a Fediverse instance on client side. We can already to something a bit like that with word filters.

It would be nice to have some kind of user controled algorythm. Maybe even running on client side for privacy.

Because of the fediverse partial mesh, leading to incomplete timeline view, or inconsistency depending the instance you’re on.

People tend to flock on primary, massive instances because they are well know of course, but also because this is where you have the most complete view, and from there your posts reaches many other instances.

You can change the UI if you selfhost it is like themes.

And it seems that new themes are coming in the next releases.

I looked into that, enterprise grade used mini pc would be good fit, but everything I've found has a TDP >15W, that is above my idea of a low power mini PC (as in consumming few electricity, keep the bill low...). For instance, Intel 9600T would draw at the minimum 25W and is rated for 35W.

This 500cc two stroke from 1988 is sitting there in front of a mall, just like a time machine.

Name a bike you regret selling thread... my turn 🥹

Moto Guzzi V7 Classic. 2010 Neo retro, even if it doesn't mean much more than fuel injection about Moto Guzzi bikes.

She was a typical Moto Guzzi: lovely engine, great handling and finish-it-yourself everything else.

Not too viby, just enough to remind you motorcycles are a bit more than mecanical parts in motion, riding was inspiring and relaxing. One can say operating a Moto Guzzi like that forces you too go nice and slow, mostly like driving an actual vintage bike, except it fires up every time.

This one I regret selling because 10 years later I am looking at it again, and now I should afford owning more than one bike at a time.

V7 Classic Moto Guzzi

I was wondering why I see so many people wearing Nintendo headsets and playing their 3DS… why… why… that’s why XD

Hello there

If you want to test many AI tools (image, text, voice, chat, code...) at once with no hassle dealing with individual providers, you may want to look at 1minai . There is a free tier on their website, then here is a great deal on stacksocial https://www.stacksocial.com/sales/1minai-pro-plan-lifetime-subscription

1minai is a little confusing, but it has everything included in one place... currently trying it myself.

As seen in the street, a customized YAMAHA YZF 1000 R THUNDERACE, with good taste and pretty things. I think it says «  Lulel edition »

Again not exactly a BSOD, but it is blue and it is out of order anyway 🤷‍♂️

Hello there

A few years ago my RPi were all running NetBSD 8 or 9. It was all good but at some point major OS upgrades hassle and more and more docker packaged apps pushed me toward Linux/arm64.

Does anyone currently runs NetBSD 10 on RPi ? (Pi2, pi3, pi4)

Bye
